Problem
The machine does not
make coffee and the
button lights flash for a
few seconds.
The coffee is too weak
(it comes out of the
espresso machine too
quickly).
Possible cause
No water in the water
tank.
The water tank has been
installed incorrectly and
the valves on the bottom
are not open.
The outlet of the
espresso boiler is
clogged.
The filter sieve is
clogged.
Limescale deposits in the
water cycle.
The ground coffee
was not pressed firmly
enough.
Not enough ground
coffee was used.
The ground coffee is too
coarse.
The wrong type of
ground coffee is being
used.
Solution
Fill water into the water
tank.
Press the water tank
down slightly to open
the valves on the
underside.
Clean the espresso
machine as described in
the "Cleaning and care"
section.
Clean the filter sieves
as described in the
"Cleaning and care"
section.
Descale the device
as described in the
"Cleaning and care"
section.
Press the ground coffee
down harder.
Use more ground
coffee.
Only use ground coffee
for espresso machines.
Use different ground
coffee.
