Only push the A/C service unit on rollers to transport it. • Always position the A/C service unit on level ground and secure the front wheels. • Only use approved refrigerant vessels with safety valves to refill the A/C service unit. • Always use the main switch of the A/C service unit to switch it on and off. Do not leave the device un attended when it is switched on. • Risk of injury from leaking fluids: Leaking fluids on the floor can cause persons to slip and injure themselves. Wipe up leaked or dripped fluids immediately or absorb them with a suitable binding agent. Dispose of them in an environmentally sound manner. NOTICE! Página 6 EN 6.3 Safety measures by the operator The operator must provide operating instructions according to respective national regulations for each A/C service unit. These operating instructions must be used to train personnel in handling the A/C service unit. The operator must ensure that personnel are instructed in the following points at least once a year: • Special dangers when dealing with compressed gases • Safety guidelines when dealing with compressed gases • Health precautions when dealing with compressed gases • Operating the A/C service unit and performing service work on the A/C service unit The operator must ensure that personnel appointed to perform service and repair work as well as leak inspections are certified to deal with refrigerant and filling systems. Certification and knowledge of the applicable guidelines and standards can be acquired from a training course at a chamber of trade, chamber of industry and commerce or at any other recognized training facility. The system operator must ensure that all service hoses are laid in such a way that they cannot be damaged when the A/C service unit is used. 7 Scope of Delivery The A/C service unit was tested for leaks before shipping. After delivery, check that all the parts listed below are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, notify the company responsible for transport immediately. Description Ref. no. Only connect the A/C service unit to an AC socket with 230 V / 240 V, 50 Hz / 60 Hz (see Technical Data on page 40). Protect the A/C service unit against rain. Wear gloves when handling refrigerants. Wear goggles when handling refrigerants. 10.2 Safety devices • Pressure monitor: Switches the compressor off if normal operating pressure is exceeded. • Pressure relief valves: Additional safety mechanism to protect lines or vessels from bursting if the pressure continues to rise despite the safety pressure monitor. • Fan monitor: Checks the fans work properly at startup. 10.3 Standby menu The standby menu shows the following information: •...

Ignore any error codes which occur during commissioning (Troubleshooting on page 37) and skip by pressing ENTER 1. Wheel the A/C service unit to the workplace and lock the front wheels. 2. The current supply quantities are displayed in the standby menu. 1. Open the cover flap (20) on the left side and push the containers into the snap locks: • Container for fresh oil (17) • Container for UV additive (18) • Drained oil receptacle (19) 2. Página 19 EN 13.2 Short selection A fully automatic air conditioning service is started using the Short selection menu. Included is a leak test that must be carried out before working on the vehicle air conditioner. The vehicle air conditioner is filled with a sam ple refrigerant. The pressure in the vehicle air conditioner must remain constant over a period of 5 min. The vehi cle air conditioner can only be completely filled if this test has been successfully completed. The sample filling is then drained and the vehicle air conditioner evacuated. The final filling quantity is completely filled up to ensure high filling accuracy.You only have to enter the filling quantity as shown on the label in the vehicle. The following actions are performed automatically in succession in the Short selection menu: • Extraction of the refrigerant • Recycling the refrigerant (purity = SAE J 2099) • Pressure rise test • Draining the used oil • Evacuating the system • Leak test/vacuum check • Filling with new oil to the required quantity • Filling with UV additive • Filling of refrigerant After each process has been performed a service report is printed. Subsequent actions are only initiated once the preceding action has been completed successfully. 1. Página 23 EN 13.5 Transferring the consumption of the refrigerant onto a USB flash drive Each time a suction or filling process (single process or fully automatic) is completed, the A/C service unit stores all the data in the internal memory. A report of this data can be generated and transferred to a USB flsh drive. Note The USB flash drive must be formatted with the FAT32 file system. Each report is saved in two formats: • As an HTML file (to be opened with any internet browser) • As an XLS file (to be opened with Microsoft Excel) The report may contain a logo (e.g. the workshop logo) if a graphic is copied to the USB flash drive that meets the following requirements: • File format: JPEG format • File name: logo.jpg (each letter in lower case) • Screen size: 370 x 50 pixels The company address in the report is taken from the A/C service unit (Entering the company data on page 14). 13.5.1 Annual reports After the calendar year has changed, the A/C service unit indicates that the data stored from the previous calendar year should be transferred to a USB flash drive. After transferring the annual data to a USB flash drive, it is deleted from the A/C service unit's internal memory. 1. Insert the USB flash drive in the USB port. 2. Página 25 EN If you only test the function of a vehicle air conditioning system without drawing off and recycling the refrigerant, the vehicle air conditioning system would lack the refrigerant remaining in the service hoses of the air conditioner after the test. The A/C system test menu item has been added to compensate for this loss. The existing standard function processes Short selection and Free selection already have a compensation function for service hoses, which means the final air conditioning function test can be carried out in the usual man ner (the service hoses are drained by the A/C service unit). 1. First, fit the connections of the A/C service unit to the vehicle air conditioning system and open them. 2. Start the vehicle's engine and switch on the air conditioning system. 3. The following four processes can be performed individually in the Free selection menu: • Recycling phase: Extraction, recycling of the refrigerant, pressure rise test, draining the waste oil. • Vacuum phase: Evacuating the system, leak test / vacuum check. • Filling phase: Before working on the vehicle air conditioner, a leak inspection must be carried out. The air conditioner is filled with a sample of refrigerant. The pressure in the air conditioner must remain constant over a period of 5 min. The air conditioner can only be completely filled if this test has been successfully complet ed. The sample filling is then drained and the air conditioner evacuated. The final filling quantity is completely filled up to ensure high filling accuracy. This is used to remove any remaining carrier gases or moisture and to prepare the air conditioning system for the filling process. Any residual refrig erant extracted which is still bonded in the refrigerant oil is collected by the A/C Service unit and recycled. 13.8.3 Filling process 1. Enter the preferred settings and press ENTER to confirm. Filling phase? ENTER‐OK STOP‐EXIT 2. Página 28 EN 13.8.5 After ending the air conditioning service After the air conditioning service has finished, you are prompted to disconnect the hoses of the A/C service unit from the vehicle air conditioning system. 1. Disconnect the service hoses and press ENTER to confirm. The service hoses will now be drained. the A/C service unit is then ready for further use. 2. Screw the valve caps of the air conditioning system back on the connections. 13.9 Flushing the air conditioning system Note The Flushing menu is used to flush the vehicle air conditioning system with fresh refrigerant. Flushing is especially suitable for replacing old compressor oil or removing most metallic residue from the system. Before flushing the refrigerant must first be extracted from the vehicle air conditioning system. Af terwards the system components which cannot be flushed must be disconnected from the refrigerant cir cuit (for example, the compressor or filter). After that the components to be flushed are connected to the service ports of the A/C service unit using special adapters to form a flushing circuit. 1. Fit the connections of the A/C service unit to the vehicle air conditioning system, and open them. 2. In the basic menu use the cursor keys or to select Free selection. Perform a leak test (Leak test on page 29). 14.5 Entering the filter code To reset the filter counter, you need to enter a 12digit code. This special code is located on the new filter. A Code entry prompt appears in the menu. If a code is not entered, the A/C service unit is taken out of operation. Each code only works once. 14.6 Calibrating the pressure transducer The pressure transducer has to be correctly calibrated in order to make accurate pressure measurements. Cali bration is required: • Every four weeks • If the A/C service unit has been subjected to heavy shaking • Every time the vacuum pump oil is changed • If the display shows implausible pressure readings 1. Screw the service couplings and handtight onto the service hoses (7) and (8), taking care not to mix up the red and blue markings on the couplings and hoses. 11. Use the keypad to enter the current local atmospheric pressure and press ENTER to confirm. Note You can look up the current atmospheric pressure for your region on the Internet, for example at www.weatherpro.com under air pressure 12. When calibration has been completed, press ENTER to exit the menu. 13. Press STOP twice to access the standby menu. 14. To evacuate the service hoses, perform a short vacuum phase (see Free Selection on page 25). 14.7 Changing the vacuum pump oil WARNING! Electrocution hazard Touching uninsulated parts may result in serious injury. Switch off the A/C service unit and unplug it from the power supply before opening the housing. the A/C service unit may only be repaired by personnel au thorized by Dometic. 1. Before changing the oil, let the vacuum pump run for about 10 min (manually, via the menu). 2. Take off the front panel: Undo the screws (D) on the control panel and lift it up. Then undo the screws (E) on the bottom of the front panel and take it off. 3. Place a receptacle with a capacity of at least ½ liter under the A/C service unit. The oil from the vacuum pump flows through the opening (I) in the base of the A/C service unit. 4. Unscrew the oil filling plug (G).

Página 73 FR 13.5 Transfert de la consommation de fluide frigorigène sur une clé À chaque fois qu’une procédure d’aspiration ou de remplissage (procédure seule ou entièrement automatisée) est terminée, le poste d’entretien pour climatisations enregistre toutes les données correspondantes dans la mémoire interne. Un rapport contenant ces données peut être généré et transféré sur une clé USB. Remarque La clé USB doit être formatée pour système de fichiers FAT32. Chaque rapport est enregistré en deux formats : • En tant que fichier HTML (pouvant être ouvert avec n’importe quel navigateur Internet) • En tant que fichier XLS (pouvant être ouvert avec Microsoft Excel) Le rapport peut comporter un logo particulier (p. ex. le logo de l’atelier), si un fichier image remplissant les condi tions suivantes est copié sur la clé USB : • format du fichier : format JPEG • Nom du fichier : logo.jpg (toutes les lettres en minuscules) • Format d’image : 370 x 50 pixels L’adresse de la société figurant dans le rapport est récupérée sur le poste d’entretien pour climatisations (Saisie des données de l’entreprise à la page 63). 13.5.1 Rapports annuels Une fois l’année civile modifiée, le poste d’entretien pour climatisations indique que les données enregistrées de l’année civile précédente doivent être transférées vers une clé USB. Après avoir transféré les données annuelles sur une clé USB, elles sont supprimées de la mémoire interne du poste d’entretien pour climatisations. 1. Insérez la clé USB dans le port USB. 2. L’option de menu Test système A/C a été ajoutée pour compenser cette perte. Página 76 FR 13.8 Sélection libre Le menu Sélection libre permet d’effectuer l’entretien du système de climatisation étape par étape. Il est possible d’effectuer les mêmes processus qu’avec le menu Sélection courte en omettant certaines étapes. Il est également possible de saisir individuellement, à l’aide du pavé numérique, les valeurs correspondantes pour chaque processus. Ce menu permet également de saisir les données du véhicule pour le rapport de service. Les quatre processus suivants peuvent être effectués individuellement dans le menu Sélection libre : • Phase de recyclage : extraction, recyclage du fluide frigorigène, contrôle de l’augmentation de pression, vi dange de l’huile usagée. • Phase de vide : évacuation du système, vérification de l’étanchéité/contrôle du vide. • Phase de remplissage : Avant chaque travail sur une climatisation du véhicule, une vérification de l’étanchéi té doit être effectuée. Le système de climatisation est rempli d’un échantillon de fluide frigorigène. Pendant une durée de 5 min, la pression du système de climatisation doit rester constante. Un remplissage complet du système de climatisation est uniquement possible lorsque le test a été réussi. L’échantillon de remplis sage est ensuite extrait et le système de climatisation vidangé. La quantité de remplissage finale est complè tement remplie, afin de garantir une précision élevée des quantités de remplissage. Rajout d’huile neuve, de traceur UV et de fluide frigorigène. • Sélection des raccords : le système de climatisation dispose de raccords haute pression et basse pression, ou encore uniquement de raccords haute pression, ou uniquement basse pression. Un rapport de service est imprimé à la fin de chaque processus. 1. Débranchez les flexibles de service et appuyez sur ENTER pour confirmer. Les flexibles de service vont maintenant être vidangés, le poste d’entretien pour climatisations sera alors prêt à être utilisé ultérieurement. 2. Revissez les bouchons des valves du système de climatisation sur les raccords. 13.9 Rinçage du système de climatisation Remarque Le menu Rinçage permet de rincer le système de climatisation du véhicule avec du flu ide frigorigène neuf. Le rinçage permet surtout de remplacer l’huile usagée du compresseur et d’éliminer la plupart des dépôts métalliques de l’installation. Avant le rinçage, commencez par extraire le fluide frig origène du système de climatisation du véhicule. Les composants qui ne peuvent pas être rincés (par ex emple le compresseur ou le filtre) doivent ensuite être retirés du circuit frigorifique. Les composants à rin cer sont ensuite raccordés à l’aide d’adaptateurs spéciaux aux connecteurs de service du poste d’entre tien pour climatisations, afin de former un circuit de rinçage. 1. Retirez la fiche d’alimentation. ATTENTION ! Risque pour la santé Seul un personnel spécialisé est habilité à effectuer les étapes suivantes. Portez des gants et des lu nettes de protection. Dévisser la vis (D) du support et retirer le filtre du sécheur. 16. Remplacer les joints toriques (E). Humecter les nouveaux joints toriques avec de l’huile réfrigérante avant le montage. 17. Placez un nouveau sécheur et serrez la vis à 15 Nm max. 18. Branchez la prise secteur. 19. Activez le poste d’entretien pour climatisations. L’onduleur effectue un autotest. 20. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose oder aus dem Klimaservicege rät. • Verbrennungsgefahr durch kalte bzw. heiße Bauteile: Tragen Sie Schutzhandschuhe. VORSICHT! Schieben Sie das Klimaservicegerät nur auf Rollen, um es zu transportieren. • Stellen Sie das Klimaservicegerät stets auf einem ebenen Boden auf und stellen Sie die Vorderräder fest. • Verwenden Sie zum Nachfüllen des Klimaservicegeräts nur zugelassene Kältemittelflaschen mit Si cherheitsventil. • Benutzen Sie immer den Hauptschalter des Klimaservicegeräts zum Ein bzw. Ausschalten. Página 106 DE • Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in gut gelüfteten Räumen. • Verwenden Sie Kältemittel nicht im Bereich von tiefer gelegenen Räumen (z. B. Montagegruben, Si ckerschächte). Das Kältemittel ist schwerer als Sauerstoff und verdrängt daher den für die Atmung erforderlichen Sauerstoff. Bei Arbeiten in ungelüfteten Montagegruben kann es zu Sauerstoffmangel kommen. ACHTUNG! Kennzeichnet eine Situation, die zu Sachschäden führen kann, wenn die jeweiligen An- weisungen nicht befolgt werden. • Achten Sie darauf, dass während des Betriebs, des Auffüllens oder Entleerens von Kältemittel so wie während Reparatur und Servicearbeiten kein Kältemittel austreten und in die Umwelt gelangen kann. Dadurch wird die Umwelt geschützt. Außerdem wird vermieden, dass durch das Vorhanden sein von Kältemittel in der Umgebung des Klimaservicegeräts das Auffinden von Lecks am Fahrzeug oder am Gerät erschwert wird oder unmöglich ist. • Treffen Sie Vorkehrungen, damit ausgetretenes Kältemittel nicht in die Kanalisation gelangen kann. Página 111 DE Behälter für UVAdditiv (500 ml) Altölbehälter Abdeckklappe Hauptschalter Lüfter 12 Erstinbetriebnahme In diesem Kapitel werden die Verfahren beschrieben, die vor der Inbetriebnahme des Klimaservicegeräts durchgeführt werden müssen. 12.1 Aufstellen und Einschalten Hinweis Um korrekte Messungen zu erzielen, muss das Klimaservicegerät während des Betriebs auf einer ebenen Fläche aufgestellt werden. Errorcodes, die bei der Erstinbetriebnahme auftreten (Fehler ENTER suche und Fehlerbehebung auf Seite 138), ignorieren und mit überspringen. 1. Das Klimaservicegerät zum Arbeitsplatz fahren und die Vorderräder feststellen. 2. Serviceschläuche montieren. 3. Página 127 DE • Klimaanlage befüllen: Vor jeder Arbeit an einer Fahrzeugklimaanlage muss eine Dichtheitsprüfung durchge führt werden. Hierzu wird die Klimaanlage mit einer Probefüllung Kältemittel befüllt. Über einen Zeitraum von 5 min muss der Druck in der Klimaanlage konstant bleiben. Eine vollständige Befüllung der Klimaanlage ist nur möglich, wenn dieser Test erfolgreich durchgeführt wurde. Anschließend wird die Probefüllung abgesaugt und die Klimaanlage evakuiert. Die endgültige Füllmenge wird vollständig gefüllt, um eine hohe Füllmengen genauigkeit zu gewährleisten. Página 129 DE 13.9 Klimaanlage spülen Hinweis Mit dem Menü spülen wird die Fahrzeugklimaanlage mit frischem Kältemittel gespült. Das Spülen ist vor allem geeignet, um altes Kompressoröl zu ersetzen oder um metallische Rückstände weit gehend aus der Anlage zu entfernen. Vor dem Spülen muss zunächst das Kältemittel aus der Fahrzeugk limaanlage abgesaugt werden. Anschließend müssen die Komponenten, die nicht gespült werden können (zum Beispiel Kompressor oder Filter), vom Kühlkreislauf getrennt werden. Danach werden die zu spülen den Komponenten über spezielle Adapter mit den Servicekupplungen des Klimaservicegeräts zu einem Spülkreislauf verbunden. 1. Die entsprechenden Anschlüsse des Klimaservicegeräts mit der Fahrzeugklimaanlage verbinden und öffnen. 2. Im Grundmenü mit den Pfeiltasten oder Einzelne Prozesse wählen. Промывка, прежде всего, служит для замены старого компрессорного масла или удаления из системы металлических остатков. Перед промывкой из автомобильного кондиционера вначале необходимо отсосать хладагент. Затем от холодильного контура следует отсоединить компоненты, которые не могут быть промыты (например, компрессор или фильтр). Si solo se prueba el funcionamiento del sistema de aire acondicionado de un vehículo sin extraer ni reciclar el re frigerante, al sistema de aire acondicionado del vehículo le faltará el refrigerante que quede en las mangueras de servicio del equipo de aire acondicionado después de la prueba. Para compensar esta cantidad perdida se ha in troducido la opción de menú Prueba pres. A/C . En los procesos de funciones estándar anteriores Selección automática y Selección libre ya hay una función de compensación para las mangueras de servicio, de forma que la prueba final de funcionamiento del equipo de aire acondicionado puede llevarse a cabo de la manera habitual (la unidad de servicio de aire acondi cionado vacía las mangueras de servicio). 1. Se pueden llevar a cabo los mismos procesos que en el menú de selección breve y también se pueden omitir los pa sos individuales que se desee. Además, para cada paso individual se pueden introducir los valores correspondi entes con el teclado. En este menú también se pueden introducir datos del vehículo para el informe de servicio. Los cuatro procesos siguientes se pueden realizar de forma individual en el menú Selección libre : • Fase de reciclado: Extracción, reciclado del refrigerante, prueba del aumento de presión, vaciado del aceite usado. • Fase de vacío: Evacuación del sistema, prueba de fugas / control de vacío. • Fase de llenado: Antes de realizar cualquier trabajo en el equipo de aire acondicionado de un vehículo, se ha de comprobar la estanqueidad. Para ello se ha de llenar dicho equipo con una muestra de refrigerante. La presión en el equipo de aire acondicionado debe permanecer constante durante 5 min. El equipo de aire acondicionado únicamente se podrá llenar por completo si esta prueba se ha realizado con éxito. Apague la unidad de servicio de aire acondicionado. 14. Extraiga el enchufe de la fuente de alimentación. ¡ATENCIÓN! Riesgo para la salud Los siguientes pasos únicamente pueden ser realizados por personal técnico autorizado. Utilice guan tes y gafas de protección. Desenrosque el tornillo (D) del soporte y extraiga el filtro del secador sin inclinarlo. 16. Cambie las juntas tóricas (E). Humecte las nuevas juntas tóricas con el aceite de refrigerante antes de mon tarlas. 17. Inserte el nuevo secador y apriete el tornillo a 15 Nm como máximo. 18. Vuelva a conectar el enchufe a la red. 19. Encienda la unidad de servicio de aire acondicionado. El inversor lleva a cabo un autotest. 20. Riesgo de electrocución El contacto con piezas no aisladas puede provocar lesiones graves. Apague la unidad de servicio de aire acondicionado y desenchúfela de la red eléctrica antes de abrir la carcasa. La unidad de servicio de aire acondicionado solo puede ser reparada por personal autorizado por Dometic. 1. Antes de cambiar el aceite, deje que la bomba de vacío funcione durante aproximadamente 10 min (manual mente, a través del menú). 2. Desmonte la cubierta frontal: Desenrosque los tornillos (D) del panel de mando y abata este hacia arriba. Desenrosque entonces los tornillos (E) inferiores de la cubierta frontal y retírela. 3. Coloque un recipiente con una capacidad de al menos medio litro debajo de la estación de mantenimiento de aire acondicionado. El aceite de la bomba de vacío fluye a través de la abertura (I) prevista en la base de la unidad de servicio de aire acondicionado. 4. Desenrosque el tornillo de llenado de aceite (G). 5. Para dejar salir el aceite, desenrosque el tornillo de vaciado de aceite (J). 6. Una vez que el aceite ha salido totalmente de la carcasa de la bomba, vuelva a enroscar el tornillo de vaciado de aceite (J). 7. Rellene con aceite nuevo para bombas de vacío hasta la mitad de la mirilla (H) y vuelva a enroscar el tornillo de llenado de aceite (G).
