If water or other liquid spills into this equipment, unplug the power cord
immediately, and then contact your dealer or a Seiko Epson service center
for advice. Continued usage may lead to fire.
CAUTION:
If a power unit is included with this product, be sure to use the supplied
power unit. If a power unit is not included with this product but is included
with the printer you are going to use, use the power unit supplied with the
printer. Using other power units may cause electronic interference.
Do not connect cables in ways other than those mentioned in this manual.
Different connections may cause equipment damage and burning.
Be sure to set this equipment on a firm, stable, horizontal surface. The
product may break or cause injury if it falls.
Do not use in locations subject to high humidity or dust levels. Excessive
humidity and dust may cause equipment damage or fire.
Do not place heavy objects on top of this product. Never stand or lean on this
product. Equipment may fall or collapse, causing breakage and possible injury.

Confirm that the following items are included in the box. If any item is missing
or damaged, contact your dealer for assistance.

Note:
• No power cable is included in the package.
• There is a model with a power unit (PS-180) pre-installed. In that case, the "Usage
Precautions for the PS-180 Power Unit" is included in the package.
Notes on Usage

Power cables with a straight connector part (illustration A-a) can be used.
Cables with an angled connector part (illustration A-b) may not fit,
depending on a shape of the connector. Make sure the connector will fit.

When the PS-Cover is attached, the description of EMI standards on the
bottom of the printer is hard to see. To read the EMI standards, uninstall
the PS-Cover if necessary.

You can hang the printer with the PS-Cover on the wall, using the
optional WH-10 hanging bracket set. Read the WH-10 installation manual
for instructions.
