Loading the Refrigerant
After the vacuum operation, the system must be loaded with the type of refrigerant indicated on the CE plate. For a correct
loading operation we recommend, after having executed the vacuum, to pump part of the refrigerant in the compressor to "break
the vacuum;" then, set off the compressor and aspirate the remaining part of the load.
To correctly quantify the gas load, use manometers connected to the pressure sockets already arranged; the pressures must be
compatible with the working conditions of the machine.
WARNING:
DANGER:
Controlling the Losses
A system can function regularly in time for the entire duration of the compressor, only if all the prescriptions relative to the correct
installation are followed, among which the absence of losses of refrigerant. It has been estimated that losses of refrigerant equal
to 10% of the total load of the system in 15 years of functioning of the compressor, still guarantee the proper functioning of the
refrigerant system. With the new gases (R134a; R404A and mixtures) the possibility of there being losses of refrigerant through the
welding and connections not performed correctly, increases due to the reduced molecular dimensions of the gas; for such
reasons, it is important that controls of the losses on the welding be performed, with methods and equipment suitable to the type
of gas employed.
Times of Functioning
The systems must be sized for maximum 80% of the normal functioning time. 100% of the functioning of the compressor can only
occur in conditions of overbearing loads and the temperature of the environment, outside the allowed functioning limits.
4.3.2 WTH Installation Modes
To proceed with the installation of the machine, use the following procedure:
1.
Make a hole on the wall of the cold-room of suitable dimensions. In Figure 4 , the dimensions of the small size wall-
mount opening are reported. The dimensions of the hole of the cold-room must be 5 mm larger than the overall length of
the wall-mount opening, therefore: 385x675.
2.
In Figure 5, the dimensions of the large size wall-mount opening are reported. The dimensions of the hole of the cold-
room must be 5 mm larger than the overall length of the wall-mount opening, therefore: 615x675.
:
to avoid irreparable damages to the compressor, do not set it off in empty conditions or without the
gas load.
:
during the unloaded and loaded phase, remember to supply voltage to the coil of the solenoid valve of
the liquid line.
the refrigerant gas mixtures must be loaded into the system only in their liquid state. The loading
operations must be performed only by specialized technicians.
For maneuvers related to the loading, recovery, and control of the refrigerant, use protection gloves
against low temperatures.
