By pressing the start/stop button (13) the
inflation process can be interrupted at any time.
8. Switching off the tool: Press on/off button (9).
The display goes off.
9. Remove the pressure hose from the object to be
inflated. If required, unscrew the adapter from
the compressed air hose (5) and store it in the
storage (4). Wind the pressure hose at the tool
and clip it in place.
7.2
Inflating / deflating with the volume hose
(14)
1. Remove the volume hose (14) from the tool and
...
a attach to the air outletfor inflation (18) (bayonet
closure: align; plug in and turn anti-clockwise)
or...
b for deflation attach to the air inlet (17) (bayonet
closure: align, plug in and turn anti-clockwise)
3. If required, from the volume hose (14) remove
the adapter (15) and screw on a suitable adapter
(15) from the storage (16).
4. Attach the volume hose (14) to the object to be
inflated using the adapter.
5. Switching on the tool: Press on/off button (9).
The display is on.
6. Switch between compressed air and blower by
pressing the operating mode button (10) (P/V):
Adjusting the blower = symbol:
Do not excessively inflate the object to be
inflated. It may otherwise burst and cause
injuries and property damage.
7. Starting the inflation process: Press the start/
stop button (13). By pressing the start/stop
button (13) the inflation process can be stopped
at any time.
8. Remove the volume hose from the object to be
inflated and close its closure.
9. Switching off the tool: Press on/off button (9).
The display goes off.
10.Remove the volume hose from the air inlet or air
outlet (bayonet closure: turn in clockwise
direction and pull off). Then insert into the socket
on the underside of the tool, wind it up at the tool
and clip it in place.
7.3
Transporting
Wind up the hose at the tool and clip it in place.
Store the connection cable (21) in the cable storage
and close the flap (19)
Carry the tool at the transport handle (8). Do not pull
the tool from the hoses or the connection cable.
8. Maintenance, care and storage
Before carrying out any work, switch off the
tool. Remove the connection cable (21) from
the mains and remove the battery pack (23) from
the tool.
Repair and maintenance work other than described
in this section should only be carried out by qualified
specialists.
8.1
Important information
Maintenance and test have to be planned and
carried out in accordance with the legal provisions
in line with the setup and mode of operation of the
tool.
Regulatory authorities may ask to view respective
documentation.
8.2
Regular maintenance
Prior to every start
Check the hoses for damage and have them
repaired if necessary.
Check that all screw fittings are seated securely,
and tighten if necessary.
Check connection cable (21) for damage, replace
with an original spare part if necessary.
8.3
Storage of tool
switch machine OFF; Remove the connection cable
(21) from the mains and remove the battery pack
(23) from the tool.
Store the device in such a way that unauthorised
persons cannot start it.
Do not store the saw outdoors, in unprotected
areas or in damp or wet locations.
Observe the permitted temperature ranges (see
technical data).
9. Troubleshooting Guide
Compressor does not run:
- Is the battery pack empty? Charge the battery
pack before use.
- Check to ensure the battery pack has been
pushed in until it clicks into place.
- Switch on ignition or vehicle engine.
Tool overheated, e.g. due to insufficient
cooling (ventilation grate covered).
- switch machine OFF;
- Remedy the cause for overheating. Leave to cool
for about ten minutes.
- Switch the tool on again.
Object to be inflated does not receive sufficient
pressure.
- Set the required pressure in the display by
pressing the +/- (11) button.
- Check the hose connection. Has the appropriate
adapter been selected?
10. Accessories
Use only original Metabo or CAS (Cordless Alliance
System) battery packs and accessories.
Use only accessories that fulfil the requirements
and specifications listed in these operating
instructions.
