INSTALLATION
Wire Device
L2 WiFi Water Sensor and Switch can be wired to 24V
equipment, so that when water is sensed, the sensor either
opens or closes a circuit. Typical applications include
preventing HVAC condensation pan overflow, turning on
water pump when water is sensed, etc.
Connect wiring as shown in the following wiring diagrams.
Wires may be extended if needed using provided wiring nuts.

C wire is optional or not used on some thermostats.

The W, Y, G, etc. Wires match as normal from thermostat to HVAC.

If display powered by C, thermostat will be blank during lockout.
If thermostat is WiFi it will not be accessible on app during lockout.
Note: Use caution if locking out heating in locations in which pipes could freeze.
NOTE:
If you only want to lock out compressor on single-stage cool systems, wire the green from L2 to Y at air-handler and wire
orange at Y at thermostat.
