The HE300 has a built-in transformer and doesn't require a transformer power in wires to
the humidifier.

as shown in this diagram.
The H6062 humidity control (pictured here) requires 24 Volts at R and C

from a transformer. Mechanical humidistats would not have R and C
terminals.
