1. Insert the battery (1) into the mini chainsaw slot and
slide it all way until it clicks into place. At this point the
batteries are fully secured;
2. To remove, press the lock/unlock button and pull out
the battery.
Use VITO's 20V lithium-ion batteries.
1. Place the battery in the charger as you would place it in
the machine;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and the
charger can be hot, but this does not mean that they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool down before fitting into the machine.
Caution: The chain has very sharp cutting edges.
Wear protective gloves when fitting it.
Caution: Remove the battery whenever you touch the
chain. Wear protective gloves when working on the
machine.
To remove the sprocket cover, lift the lever (8) and turn the
nut anticlockwise.
Fit the guide bar (5), inserting the hole of the guide bar into
the screw.
Insert the chain (6) into the guide bar (5) and the sprocket.
Note the cutting direction of the chain.
Holding the guide bar, put the sprocket cover on and
tighten the nut using the lever (8) until it is in contact with
the guide bar. Then tighten the tensioning screw (A) leaving
a gap of 5-7mm between the guide bar and chain.
Important: It is very important that you keep the
chain at the correct tension. It prevents wear on the
guide bar and guarantees more perfect and safer cuts.
While using the mini chainsaw you must consider certain
precautions and operating procedures in order to avoid
accidents, damage and to increase the efficiency of the
mini chainsaw:
▪ Take extreme care when cutting off small branches or
bushes that may stuck the chain, they can kickback
against you making you losing balance and get injured;
▪ If you try to cut trunks above the recommended size,
kickback can occur and cause accidents to the user;
▪ If you hear an unusual noise or the mini chainsaw
vibrates abnormally, stop working and identify the
cause;
▪ Never operate a mini chainsaw that is damaged.
Fit the battery pack before starting the machine!
Press the safety button (9) and the ON/OFF switch (3)
simultaneously. If you do not press the safety button, the
ON/OFF switch remains locked.
To switch off, release the trigger (the safety button returns
to lock position).
The noise the machine makes when reducing speed is
normal and does not affect performance or useful life.
Before starting the mini chainsaw, check that the
chain is not touching any object.
