Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning
task, place the mini chainsaw on a level surface, turn
off the motor and remove the battery.
You should sharpen the chain every time:
▪ The sawdust is very fine (powder);
▪ You need to apply more strength force to the cut than
usual;
▪ The chainsaw is not cutting straight;
▪ You notice the chainsaw is vibrating too much.
When sharpening the chain:
▪ Make sure the mini chainsaw is secure;
▪ Always wear work gloves;
▪ The motor shall not be running;
▪ Use a round file with the correct diameter for the saw
chain;
▪ Reverse the guide bar from time to time to allow a
homogeneous wear;
▪ Check that the grooves where the chain runs the guide
bar, have their corners at 90°;
▪ More rounded corners mean that the guide bar must be
replaced.
Storage
Preparing storage for long periods is vital to avoid problems
and increase the service life of the mini chainsaw.
Store the chainsaw in a dry place. Avoid places with high
humidity to avoid the appearance of corrosion and rust.
Make sure the machine is protected against misuse (for
example, by children).
Cleaning
The chainsaw must be thoroughly cleaned after each use.
Remove any waste accumulated in the chain. Careful
handling protects the power tool and extends its service
life.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19/EC on
electrical and electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power tools must be
collected separately and delivered to the collection sites
intended for this purpose.
Make sure that the deactivated equipment is forwarded for
disposal in a technically correct way.
You can get information regarding the disposal of the power
tool through the person in charge for recycling in your city.
