IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Read and understand all of the safety precautions, warnings and operating instructions in the Instruction
Manual before operating or maintaining this vacuum cleaner.
Most accidents that result from vacuum cleaner operation and maintenance are caused by the failure to
observe basic safety rules or precautions. An accident can often be avoided by recognizing a potentially
hazardous situation before it occurs, and by observing appropriate safety procedures.
Basic safety precautions are outlined in the "SAFETY" section of this Instruction Manual and in the sections
which contain the operation and maintenance instructions.
Hazards that must be avoided to prevent bodily injury or device damage are identifi ed by WARNINGS on the
vacuum cleaner and in this Instruction Manual.
NEVER use this vacuum cleaner in a manner that has not been specifi cally recommended by metabo HPT.
MEANINGS OF SIGNAL WORDS
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situations which, if ignored, could result in death or serious
injury.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situations which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate
injury, or may cause device damage.
NOTE emphasizes essential information.
SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE
The vacuum cleaner is suitable for the vacuuming of dust, solid materials (broken glass, nails etc.), with the
exception of material that is hotter than 60 °C.
The vacuum cleaner is suited for vacuuming of liquids.
This device is not designed for use by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities,
or with insuffi cient experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety, or have received instructions on how to use the device by this person.
Pay attention to the country-specifi c regulations, as well as the specifi cations of the material producer.
This product is designed for commercial use, for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops,
offi ces and rental companies.
Dust containing asbestos must not be vacuumed.
Infl ammable dust must not be vacuumed.
No infl ammable or explosive solvents, material saturated with solvent, dust that represents an explosion
hazard, liquids of any kind, thinner or material that is hotter than 60 °C are allowed to be vacuumed. This
would cause an explosion and fi re hazard! You are not allowed to use the device in the vicinity of infl ammable
gases or substances.
The user bears sole responsibility for any damage caused by inappropriate use.
Generally accepted accident prevention regulations and the enclosed safety information must be observed.
The vacuum cleaner is suited for the separation of dry, non-fl ammable dust and wood dust.
The particulate collective effi ciency of the HEPA fi lter is 99.95%.
