2. PROPER INTENDED USE
The BC 6-12 V / 10A is a multi-stage battery charger for vehicles. It is used for charging and
maintenance charging 6 V and 12 V lead batteries (WET, AGM and gel). It can also charge 12 V
lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO, LFP) in the charging program intended for this.4
Alternatively, the charger can also be used in Supply mode as a power supply, e.g. in order to
retain electrical settings when the battery is disconnected. However, the charger is not suita-
ble for charging lithium-ion batteries.
Discharged batteries can also be regenerated, but this depends on the type of battery. Before
using the charger for the first time, read the manual carefully and keep it safe.
Any application that deviates from the proper intended use is prohibited and potentially dan-
gerous. Damages that are caused by a misuse or a failure to observe the proper intended use
are not covered by the guarantee, and the manufacturer is not liable for such damages.
Please note that our chargers are not designed for commercial, artisanal or industrial use. If
they are used in the commercial sector, the guarantee expires.
