- Do not use metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating of the plate.
- Wipe the outside of the sandwich maker with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside
surface of the appliance with abrasive scouring pads to avoid damaging the finish.
- Do not place the appliance in the dishwasher.
- Clean the hobs with a sponge or cloth dampened with lukewarm water.
- Dry the plates with a cloth or paper towel.
- Allow the sandwich maker to cool completely before storing.
- Wrap the power cord around the base for storage.

Possible cause
The product is not plugged
in.
There is too much food
that has not been removed
during previous cooking and
is burning.
You are preparing greasy
ingredients.
The preparation time is not
enough.
The bread you are using is
excessively moist.
Possible solution
Plug the appliance in.
Wipe the surface with a
damp cloth and remove food
residues.
When greasy food is cooked,
a large amount of oil will leak
into the container. Cooking oil
causes white smoke to come
out of the device and it gets
hotter than normal. This does
not affect the device or the
result.
Leave the sandwich in the
sandwich maker for a longer
period of time.
Try using a slightly drier bread
and add, if you consider it
necessary, a pinch of sugar
or butter.
