1) Starting key switch
Controls activation of all the electric system components..
Pos. 0 = electric system off, Pos.1 = electric system on
2) Speed switch
Used to set the type of speed to be used during travel or work.
Turn to the "tortoise" symbol to set the machine at a low speed for thorough cleaning.
Turn to the "hare" symbol to set the machine at a high speed for travel between jobs.
Turn to between the "tortoise and hare" symbols to set the machine at a speed (and cleaning level) between the two extremes.
3) Hour-meter display and charge status battery indicator
The display shows the working hours of the machine.
The graded Leds scale shows the charge status of the battery.
4) Emergency stop button
Cuts out the contacts for all the controls simultaneously.
If an emergency occurs, press this button. To restore operation, pull up the button.
5) Brush control button
Controls the brushes rotation motor and their lowering
Pos."stop: motor off, brush raised, Pos. "brush" motor operating, brushes lowered.
6) Vacuum on and squeegee control button
Controls the vacuum motor and the lowering of squeegee.
Pos. "Stop" vacuum motor switch off and squeegee raised. Pos. "Fan" vacuum motor switch on and the squeegee lowered
7) Forward and reverse travel selector switch
Provides forward and reverse travel of the scrubber/drier.
Pos."A": scrubber/drier moves forward. Pos."R" scrubber/drier moves backward.
8) Parking brake locking handle
The handle locks the brake of the machine in parking position, proceed as follows:
► push down the brake pedal 15 (fi g.3) and pull up the handle 8 (fi g.3) on the direction indicated by the arrow..
To unlock the machine, the following way:
► make a light pressure on the brake pedal 15 (fi g.3) and release it. This operation unlock the handle 8 (fi g.3).
9) Horn button
Controls the operation of the horn.
10) Solution tank (fi lling cap)
Used for fi lling up with detergent solution.
11) Max. Water (solution) level indicator hose
The hose indicates the maximum level inside the solution tank.
12) Water (solution) reserve indicator hose
The hose indicates the reserve inside the solution tank.
13) ON/OFF cock lever and fl ow regulation rod
They serve to open/close and regulate the water solution on the brushes (fi g.5).
14) "On board" battery charger
Used when the battery discharged.
If The red Led on graded scale of the display 3 (fi g.3) lights on "0" indicates that the battery is discharged.
Connect the plug of the battery charger on the 220V socket.
15) Brake pedal
The pedal controls the service brake during the travel or work of the machine.
16) Accelerator pedal
Controls the forward and reverse travel speed.
17) Dirty water draining hose
Used for draining the dirty water from recovery tank.
!: For cleaning the recovery tank accurately, proceed as follows:
►
make sure that the recovery tank is empty.
►
disengage the closing lever A (fi g.3).
►
remove the cover B and its fi lter from the recovery tank, disengage the closing lever, C and D (fi g.3).
►
turn over the recovery tank and support it by its stand E (fi g.3).
►
Use a water-jet to clean inside the recovery tank.
18) Reverse travel warning light (red)
The light indicates a wrong activation of the reverse travel and stops the machine. Then proceed, deactivate the vacuum by pushing the button
6 (fi g.3), and check if the squeegee is lifted and the warning light 18 is off.
! This operation avoid damages to the squeegee rubbers.
19) Switch for loading the machine
Use it to load the machine on the transport vehicle.This switch acts the reverse drive of the machine. (see "transporting the machine")
