Important installation instructions
When pulling part of the electrical wiring bundle (A) through the cable bushing of the 5th
door, observe the practices of the garage and proceed with utmost care to prevent damage
to the bundle, the cable bushing, or the existing electrical wiring of the 5th door.
Installation procedure
When removing and replacing individual parts, follow the instructions in the ŠKODA Workshop
Manual.
Demount:
› 5th door handle
› upper and lower lining of the 5th door
› boot lining right
› C-pillar lining right
› D-pillar lining right
› 5th door lock latch lining
› rear cushions
› rear side air bag right
› ceiling clamps
› sill cover of the rear and front doors right
› A-pillar lining right
› dashboard side cover both left and right
› front passenger's glove compartment
› driver's glove compartment
› driver-side lining
› instrument cluster
› MIB information electronics control unit
› knee air bag (if installed)
Loosen:
› the right cable bushing of the 5th door electrical wiring
› allow the rear part of the ceiling to droop
› fuse box
› BCM

Diagram of the location of the washer hose (B) and the electrical wiring bundle (A) in the
vehicle - lay and connect the hose and all of the wires according to the corresponding
figures.

Handle with the reversing camera
› Remove the 5th door handle and disconnect the terminal blocks.
› Connect the terminal block of the existing electrical wiring to the handle with the reversing
camera (C) (hereinafter referred to as the handle), fit the handle in the opening in the 5th door
and install it there.
