TIME CORRECTION ADJUSTMENT:
The time correction function in 3681 is provided to
adjust sound timing reading from each speaker to
listeners inside the car. The adjustment will be
made for each speaker in a step of 0.3mS. Very nat-
ural sound image with a good feeling of the sound
location will be obtained by adjusting the time cor-
rection to the seat position.

1. Improper wiring connections could cause da-
mage to your vehicle's electrical system and/or
the 3681. Carefully follow the wiring instructions
in this manual.
2. Attaching the battery lead to the positive (+)
terminal of the battery should be the last con-
nection after all other connections are made.
3. Be sure that the 3681 is mounted in a way that
will allow for free air circulation and heat dissipa-
tion.
4, When changing fuses, be sure to replace the old
fuse with one of the same amperage (5A). Use of
improper fuses can lead to serious damage to
components.
Front Right
_ Example 1. Listening Position: Front Left Seat
Adjust the time correction level of the front left
speaker to a high value and the rear right to zero or
a low value.
Example 2. Listening Position: All Seats
Adjust the time correction level of each speaker to
almost the same level.

DIGITAL FIBER-OPTIC CABLE
1. When connecting or disconnecting the fiber-op-
tic cable, please grab the connector part, not the
cable.
2. Be sure to line-up the top and bottom of the con-
nector part when connecting.
3. When routing the fiber-optic cable, do not make
sharp bends (smaller than 1 inch in diameter).
Otherwise, the cable may become damaged.
4. When
installing the fiber-optic cable, always
cover the cable with corrugated tubing to pro-
tect the cable.
5. Do not drop heavy objects on the cable.
6. Be sure to keep the terminal section of the fiber-
optic cable clean. If dust or any other foreign ma-
terial comes in contact with the terminal, clean
by gently wiping with tissue paper, etc.
