Plunge cuts
Plungecutsmayonlybemadeinsoftma-
terials such as wood, aerated concrete,
plasterboard,etc.However,thisrequiresa
certain amount of practice and is possible
only with short saw blades.
1. Placethesawontheworkpieceand
switch it on.
2. Makesurethatthefrontedgeofthe
support plate rests on the surface of the
workpiece.
3. Slowly saw at an angle into the work-
piece, then bring the saw blade into a
verticalposition.
4. Continue sawing along the cutting line.
5. Turn off the saw and lift it off the work-
pieceafterfinishingwork.

1. Turnonthedevice.Beforeswitching
thedeviceon,ensureitisnotincontact
with the workpiece.
2. Placethesupportplate(6)onthework-
piece.
3. Cut with a uniform forward motion.

the saw blade (11/12) from the saw
cutandthenswitchthedeviceoff.

• Clamptheworkpiece.Useaclamping
deviceforsmallworkpieces.
• Drawalinetospecifythedirectionin
which the saw blade is guided.
• Holdthedevicesecurelybythehandle.
• Setthependulumstrokeonoroff.
• Turnonthedevice.
• Waituntilthedevicehasreachedfull
speed.
• Placethesupportplate(6)onthework-
piece.
• Donotapplytoomuchpressure.Move
thedeviceslowly.Letthedevicedothe
work.
Excessivepressuremaybendand
break the saw blade.
• Beforeshuttingdownthedevice,switch
it off and wait for it to come to a com-
plete standstill.
CleaningandServicing
Switch off the device and re-
move the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance
work.
Alwayswearprotectivegloves
when handling the saw blade in
ordertoavoidcuttingyourself.
