Push the transverse stop (31) and workpiece in the
direction of the saw blade in order to perform the
cut.
m CAUTION: Always hold the guided workpiece
firmly and never the free workpiece which is cut off.

Always push the transverse stop (31) so far for-
wards until the workpiece is completely cut
through.
7.
Switch the saw off again.
8.
Only remove sawing waste when the saw blade
has come to a standstill.
10.5 Cutting chipboard
To prevent the cutting edges from breaking when cut-
ting chipboard, do not set the saw blade (4) higher than
5 mm above the thickness of the workpiece.
10.6 After sawing
1.
Switch off the circular table saw first and then the
extraction unit. The saw blade continues to run for
a longer time.
2.
Do not remove the cut waste on the saw table until
the saw blade has returned to its rest position.
3.
Disconnect the circular table saw from the mains
by pulling the mains plug out of the power outlet.
4.
Allow the circular table saw to cool down com-
pletely.
10.7 Removing trapped material
m WARNING! Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the circular table saw may result
in serious injury.
• Switch off the circular table saw immediately and
disconnect the mains plug from the power outlet if
the saw blade is jammed in the workpiece or other
blockages occur.
• Use protective gloves and do not touch the saw
blade with your bare hands.
10.8 Fitting/replacing the saw blade (Fig. 13+16)
m WARNING: Pull out the mains plug and wear pro-
tective gloves.
1.
Remove the saw blade guard (2) (see 8.4).
2.
Remove the table insert (5) by loosening the two
countersunk screws (25).
3.
Place the Allen key (h) (HX6) on the screw and
hold it against the motor shaft with the ring span-
ner (f) (SW22).
CAUTION: Turn the screw in the direction of rota-
tion of the saw blade. Remove the loosened screw.

4.
Remove the outer flange and pull the old saw
blade diagonally downwards from the inner flange.
5.
Clean the saw blade flanges carefully with a wire
brush before mounting the new saw blade.
6.
Insert the new saw blade in the reverse sequence
and tighten.
CAUTION: Observe running direction, the cut-
ting bevel of the teeth must point in running
direction, i.e. towards the front.
7.
Refit and adjust the table insert (5) and saw blade
protection (2) (see 8.4 + 12.2).
8.
Before you start working with the saw again, check
that the safety devices are functioning properly.
11. Transport (Fig. 28)
1.
Turn the power tool off before it is transported and
disconnect it from the power supply.
2.
Lower the saw blade (4) as far as possible.
3.
Wind up the mains cable
4.
Always carry the power tool with at least one other
person. Do not carry the machine by the table ex-
tensions, but only lift it by the housing.
5.
Protect the power tool against knocks, jolts and
strong vibrations, e.g. when it is transported in mo-
tor vehicles.
6.
Secure the power tool against tilting and sliding.
7.
Never use the protective devices for handling or
transport.
12. Maintenance
m Warning! Prior to any adjustment, maintenance or
service work disconnect the mains power plug!
12.1 General maintenance measures
• Keep the safety devices, air vents and motor hous-
ing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Wipe the
device off with a clean cloth or blow it out with com-
pressed air at a low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device immedi-
ately after every use.
• Clean the device regularly with a damp cloth and
some soft soap. Do not use any detergents or sol-
vents; these might attack the plastic parts of the de-
vice. Make sure that no water can get into the interior
of the device.
• Oil the moving parts once a month in order to extend
the tool life. Do not oil the motor.
