CHANGING THE UNITS OF TEMPERATURE
To make this change from the control panel:
While the unit is running, press simultaneously on the + and - buttons for three seconds: the setting
switches to the other unit.
Example:
Before the change is made, in COOLING mode, the control screen appears as shown in Fig. 1.
After the change is made, in COOLING mode, the control screen appears as shown in Fig. 2.

CHILD SAFETY
You can only activate this function, which prevents unwanted use, from the remote control:

Simultaneously press the

buttons for three seconds to activate or deactivate this function.
•
When the function is activated, operation of the buttons on the remote control is disabled.

TURBO FUNCTION
The TURBO function activates the unit's COOLING mode at a temperature of 18°C (64°F), with the fan at
maximum in order to reach the temperature as quickly as possible.
You can only activate this function from the remote control:
•

DRAINING
If there is too much condensation in the unit, it stops working and displays the message
TANK", see the AUTODIAGNOSIS section below). This indicates that the condensation water must be
drained off by following the procedures below:
Manual draining
Water should be drained in areas with high moisture
content.
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
2. Place a suitable container under the drain opening (1)
at the bottom of the unit.
3. Remove the drain plug (2).
4. The water must be drained and collected in a container
(not supplied).
5. Once the water has drained, replace the plug.
6. Turn the appliance on.
Continuous draining
When using the air conditioner in Dehumidifying mode,
continuous draining is recommended.
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
2. Remove the drain plug (2) at the bottom of the unit.
During this step, some water may escape, so have a
suitable container ready to collect the water under the
drain opening (1).
3. Connect the drain hose (supplied) (3).

4. The water can be continuously drained to a drain,
bucket or sink through the hose.
5. Turn the appliance on.
