cleaning and maintenance
Always turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
CLEANING THE UNIT
Clean the surface of the device with a damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth.
Never wash the unit with water, this could be dangerous.
Never use corrosive detergents, corrosive solvents or chemical products.
Never use abrasive sponges, scouring pads or stiff brushes to clean the unit.
Do not immerse the body of the unit in water.
Never spray insecticide or similar products in the direction of the unit.
Keep the motor and other electrical components away from water.
If the appliance is not used for a long period of time, wrap it carefully in a protective covering. Store
it in a dry, ventilated, dust-free location.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
To prevent excessive dust accumulation on the
filters from affecting blower operation, clean the
filter weekly.
To remove the filters, refer to the illustration opposite,
taking care not to cut yourself on the metal parts.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust
accumulated on the filters. If these are very dirty,
immerse them in hot water and rinse them several
times. The water temperature should not be higher
than 40°C (104°F).
After washing, let the filters dry and then reinstall the
grids.
COMMENTS:
When moving the unit, there is a risk that the condensation water contained inside could leak out,
draining the unit before moving it is therefore recommended.

AUTODIAGNOSIS
The unit has an autodiagnosis system to identify a number of malfunctions. Error messages are displayed
on the unit's screen.

The unit is equipped with a frost protection mechanism (defrost) to avoid
excessive accumulation of ice.
The unit automatically restarts again when the defrosting process is
LOW TEMPERATURE
completed.
If this message is displayed, contact your authorized service centre.
FAULTY SENSOR
Empty the internal tank following the instructions in the "End of Season
Precautions" section.
