■ To check the greeting-
Press GREETING.
The answering machine replays the greeting. If no greeting has
been recorded, the pre-recorded message is heard instead.
■ To change the greeting-
Record a new greeting.
The new greeting replaces the old one.
■ To use the pre-recorded messages-
If you want to use the pre-recorded messages, erase your own
greeting as follows:
1 Press GREETING.
2 While the greeting is being replayed, press ERASE.
Note that the pre-recorded greeting messages cannot be erased.
■ If a power interruption occurs-
• If a power interruption occurs and there are fresh batteries in
the answering machine, the greeting you recorded will be
retained in the memory for about 7 hours.
• If a power interruption occurs and the batteries in the
answering machine are dead, the greeting you recorded will be
cleared. If this happens, the "P" indicator will appear in the
message counter when the power is restored. Record the
greeting and set die current day and time (page 15) again.
