Precautions
On power source
• Operate the answering machine only on 12V DC. Use the AC
power adaptor supplied with the answering machine. Do not use
any other AC power adaptors as they may cause malfunction.
• Connect the answering machine to an AC outlet which has a
continuous power supply. Avoid outlets where power may be cut
off.
On installation
Do not expose the answering machine to:
♦ heat sources such as radiators or air ducts.
♦ extremely low temperatures.
♦ direct sunlight.
♦ excessive dust.
♦ moisture or rain.
♦ mechanical vibration or shock.
Do not place the answering machine on a sloping surface.
On maintenance
Clean the cabinets with a soft doth slightly moistened with water or a
mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad,
scouring powder or solvent such as alcohol or benzine as they may
damage the finish of the cabinet.
On power failure
When the power is restored after a power interruption. If the batteries
are not installed or the batteries are dead, the "P" indicator will flash
in the message counter.
This means that the greeting message, any recorded messages, and
the current day and time have all been cleared. In this case set and
record all these again.
