Operating display
∙ The operating display can be used to switch the
appliance on and off and select the individual functions.
The selected functions light up or flash.
∙ The display is used to select the desired frying basket
(right/left or both).
∙ To select the automatic programmes, first press the
button .

Preparing the unit
1. Always place the unit on a dry, level, non-slip and
heat-resistant surface impervious to contact with the
rubber feet.
2. Prepare the food to be air-fried.
3. Remove one or both frying baskets and place one
basket insert in each.
4. Fill the food into the frying basket. The "MAX" mark
must not be exceeded.
5. Insert the frying basket into the low fat fryer.
Tip! When the display shows - - -, the frying basket is
inserted incorrectly. Insert the frying basket correctly; the
display turns off.
Switch the device on
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet. A signal
tone sounds and the display lights up
2. Press and hold the button
and R light up on the display.
3. Now select the desired frying basket (L or R) or both
frying baskets .
Attention! After selecting the frying basket, the display
indicators flash quickly for about 10 seconds. You must
make a selection during this time. Briefly tap the L,
or R buttons again if they stop flashing quickly.
Tip! Press and hold the
return to the default setting at any time and cancel the
frying process. Long press the L or R button to cancel
the programme for each frying basket individually.
Using automatic programmes
1. Proceed as described under "Preparing the appliance"
and "Switching on the appliance" and press the
button
.
 The first automatic programme lights up on the
display.
2. Press the button
programme lights up. The temperature and time are
displayed alternately.
Hint:
You can set the desired temperature and time
individually by pressing buttons
3. Press the Start/Stop button
 The food is deep-fried. The temperature and the
remaining time light up alternately on the display.
When the time has elapsed, a signal tone sounds.
4. Remove the frying basket from the low fat fryer by
using the handle.
5. Unload the food into a heat-resistant container.
6. Allow the frying basket with basket insert to cool down.
7. Disconnect the power plug from the socket.
8. Clean the frying basket with basket insert as described
in "Cleaning and care"
