WARNING! Progressive cutting on older models of pruning shears
Only if you have purchased your GY3202PS - GY3202PSS and GY4202PS - GY4202PSS
shears, from 2023 onwards, the progressive cutting mode is activated as described
above.
* If you do not activate/deactivate the progressive cutting mode when following this sequence
of steps, you have an earlier model. To activate/deactivate the progressive cutting mode in
these cases, follow the instructions described in the step "Activating/deactivating the anti-
cutting mode" described below.
Activation of the anti-cut system (GY2802PS - GY2802PSS and GY3202PS - GY3202PSS)*
With the anti-cut system activated, the scissors will detect if any of the blades are in contact with the
skin, and will block the movement of the blades.
To activate or deactivate this mode, once you have turned on the scissors and before double-clicking to
activate cutting, press the trigger and hold it for 10 seconds, until the scissors beeps.
To verify that the anti-cutting mode has been correctly activated, place your finger on the fixed blade
on the flat side, making sure that it does not come into contact with the cutting edge of the blade. The
scissors will then beep without the need to press the trigger. This indicates that it has been properly
activated, and if the trigger is pressed, the scissors should not move.
DANGER! Anti-cut system
The sensor of the anti-cut system is affected by the use of gloves or use in humid
environments, so its activation is not recommended in these cases.
WARNING! Anti-cut system
The anti-cut system is a safety system that reduces the risk of cutting, although this
risk is always present. Exercise caution when using the scissors.
WARNING! Anti-cutting system on older pruning shears models
Only if you have purchased your GY3202PS -GY3202PSS shears from 2023 onwards, it is
equipped with the anti-cutting mode.
* Only if you have purchased your GY2802PS or GY3202PS shears from 2023 onwards, it has the
anti-cutting mode
* If after the process, your GY3202PS -GY3202PSS scissors instead of activating the anti-cutting
system, you see that the progressive cutting mode has been activated/deactivated, your
GY3202PS -GY3202PSS scissors do not have the anti-cutting system.
Automatic shut-off
When the scissors are not used for more than 10 minutes, it beeps and turns off automatically. To return
to work mode, press the power button again.
