Hold the tool in your right hand and guide it with
your left hand at the grip as shown in Fig. 6.
Good work results depend primarily on the cy-
linder being accurately aligned. The grip allows
the tool to be guided exactly parallel to the work
piece surface. There is a risk when not working
with the grip that tool tilting may produce grin-
ding marks and striations on the surface.
Guide the tool at an acute angle to the cham-
fer or rounded edges when working on them
(Fig. 7).
Only exert slight pressure when sanding and
satin-fi nishing. Too great a contact pressure
overloads the tool and results in irregular ma-
terial removal.

9 Care and maintenance:
Caution!
Remove the battery from device before any
assembly, adjustment, maintenance measure
or repair!
The device is broadly maintenance-free. For a
long service life, you should clean your unit af-
ter every use with a soft cloth or brush.
The exterior of the housing can be cleaned
with a soft, possibly damp cloth. A mild soap
or other suitable cleaning agent may be used
during this. Solvents or cleaning agents con-
taining alcohol (e.g. petrol, cleaning alcohols
etc.) should be avoided, since these can attack
plastic casings. In any event, make absolutely
certain that no liquids penetrate into the interior
of the device.
10 Disposal
Please do not dispose of this machine in
household refuse! The device contains reusable
materials which can be recycled. If you have
any questions about this, please contact your
local disposal company or other appropriate
local facilities.
Note on disposal within the EU:
Please note that in accordance with the EU
directive 2012/19/EU and the EU directive
2006/66/EC, defective or consumed accumula-
tors and no longer operational electrical devices
must be disposed of separately from household
waste and must be sent for reuse in an environ-
mentally responsible manner!
