3. Intended use
The cordless caulk & adhesive gun is designed
for dispensing and applying caulk or adhesives
such as silicone, acrylic and glue.
The equipment is allowed to be used only for its
prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to
be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not
the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or
injuries of any kind resulting from such misuse.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or
industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided
if the equipment is used in commercial, trade or
industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

CAUTION!
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with the instructions, certain
residual risks cannot be eliminated. The
following hazards may arise in connection
with the equipment's construction and
layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear
protection is applied.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm
vibrations if the equipment is used over a
longer period or is not properly guided and

maintained.
Limit the operating time.
All stages of the operating cycle must be
considered (for example, times in which the
electric tools are switched off and times in which
the tool is switched on but operates without load).
5. Before starting the equipment
5.1 Fitting/removing the caulk/adhesive tube
holder (Fig. 4)
Mount the caulk/adhesive tube holder (7) with
the fastener (6) on the tool. To do this, insert the
caulk/adhesive tube holder (7) into the fastener
(6) as far as it will go and lock it in place by
turning it 90° clockwise. Make sure that the two
components are fi rmly connected to each other.
5.2 Inserting and removing the caulk/
adhesive tube (Fig. 5)
Press the release button (2) and pull the piston
rod slowly to the rear as far as the stop. Insert the
tube in the caulk/adhesive tube holder (7). Press
the release button (2) again and push the piston
rod (4) till it touches the tube. To remove the tube,
press the release button (2) again and pull the
piston rod (4) slowly back to the stop. The tube
can then be removed from the caulk/adhesive
tube holder (7).
NOTE:
Before you insert the tube, check it for punctures
or other damage. Only use undamaged tubes or
the tool will become damaged. If you want to use
a tube that has already been opened, fi rst remove
all old material residues.
5.3 Using a caulk/adhesive tube that has
already been used (Fig. 6)
On the caulk/adhesive tube holder is a piercing
tool (8). You can use this tool to pierce holes
through dried-up tube nozzles and openings.
5.4 Removing/fi tting the piston rod (Fig. 7-8)
If the piston rod becomes dirty and soiled, it can
be dismantled and cleaned. Proceed as follows:
Undo the screw (9) and remove the rod
handle (3) from the piston rod (4) as shown in
Fig. 7.
Press the release button (2) and pull the
piston rod (4) forward and out as shown in
Fig. 8.
