OPERATION - GENERAL

OPERATION - FIRST USE
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean the appliance to remove any manufacturing residues. See 'Cleaning and maintenance'.
OPERATION - OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The air fryer features overheating protection. This switches on if the temperature rises too high. The ap-
pliance will then switch off automatically. You must then let the air fryer cool down before you can use it
again.
OPERATION - USE
As this versatile appliance can be used not only as a fryer but also as a convection oven, you can easily
and endlessly vary its simple settings. Moreover, the baking time is often many times shorter than with
traditional ovens and preheating takes only two to three minutes.
Using manual settings
1.
Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal and level surface.
2.
Pull out the tray (4) by the handle and place it on a stable, horizontal and flat surface. Press the
release button (19) and remove the basket (1) from the tray.
3.
Place the food in the basket and place it in the tray until you hear a click.
4.
Insert the plug into the wall socket. The display (6) and buttons light up as a sign that the appliance is
ready for use.
5.
Press the start/stop/pause/reset button (15) to switch the appliance on. The appliance switches on
with default settings of 200° Celsius and 15 minutes.

If desired, change the temperature by pressing the temp/timer button (14) once and then + or - (12 or
13). The temperature changes in 5° Celsius increments.
7.
If desired, change the cooking time by pressing the temp/timer button and then + or -. The time chan-
ges in 1-minute increments.
8.
Then press the start/stop/pause/reset button to start the cooking process. The timer starts running.
9.
Take out the tray and place it on a plate.
10. Press the release button and then remove the basket (1) from the tray.
11. Place the prepared food on a plate or dish.
12. Then unplug the appliance when you are not going to use it any more.
Using a preset programme
You can also use one of the presets. The time and temperature are then already optimally set for the
selected option. Then proceed as follows:
1.
Press the start/stop/pause/reset button to switch the appliance on. The appliance switches on with
default settings of 200° Celsius and 15 minutes.
2.
Press the Mode button (11) repeatedly until the desired preset flashes in the display.
3.
Then press the start/stop/pause/reset button to start the cooking process. The timer starts running.
