Installation
SATA HDD / SSD
1.
Connect your SATA 22 pin device to the converter.
2.
Connect the USB cable to the converter.
3.
Now connect the USB cable with an available USB port of your computer.
4.
Switch on the converter.
5.
The power lights up blue.
6.
Switch on your computer.
7.
The external drive will be recognized and you can start using the device
immediately.
8.
The SATA LED lights up white permanently and flashes when there is
activity.
M.2 NVMe SSD
1.
Put your M.2 module into the slot.
2.
Fix the module with the help of the rubber nipple.
3.
Connect the USB cable with the enclosure and a free USB port of your
computer.
4.
Switch on the converter.
5.
The power lights up blue.
6.
Switch on your computer.
7.
The external drive will be recognized and you can start using the device
immediately.
8.
The M.2 LED lights up white permanently and flashes when there is activity.
Clone Function
Note:
Make sure that the SSD to which you want to transfer the data has the same or
higher capacity than the SSD from which you want to copy.
All data which are on the target SSD will be overwritten during the copy
procedure! Therefore we recommend to save the old data before or to use an
empty SSD.
