Smartphone holder
1. Place the smartphone with the front camera
lens centred over the adapter opening.
2. Press the smartphone case firmly onto the
suction cups of the mounting plate.
3. Tighten the safety strap around the smart-
phone and the camera plate.
4. Switch on the smartphone and start the ca-
mera app. The image can be seen on the dis-
play through the lens.
5. If necessary, adjust the sharpness of the
image using the focus setting of the lens and
the rotary wheel for adjusting the height of
the mounting plate.
6. Use the zoom function of the smartphone to
show the object of observation in full format
on the display.
NOTE:
Make sure that the smartphone cannot slip off
the cradle. Bresser GmbH accepts no liability
for damage caused by a dropped smartphone!
Care and maintenance
Separate the device from the power supply be-
fore cleaning (remove batteries)!
Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the
device.
NOTE:
Do not use any cleaning
fluid to avoid damaging the
electronics.
Clean the lenses (eyepiece and/or lens) with a
soft and lint-free cloth only (e.g. microfibre).
NOTE:
Do not apply excess pressure
to the cloth so as to avoid
scratching the lenses.
To remove more stubborn dirt, moisten the
cleaning cloth with an eyeglass-cleaning solu-
tion and wipe the lenses gently.
Protect the device from dust and moisture! Af-
ter use - in particular in situations of high hu-
midity - let the device acclimatize for a short
period of time, so that the residual moisture
can dissipate.
