Disassembling or assembling the grip (Fig. 4)
For some tasks it may be useful to guide the device
without the grip which is pre-assembled on delive-
ry. It can be disassembled and reassembled as re-
quired. To disassemble, please proceed as follows:
1. Remove screw 1
2. Remove both clamps (2 and 4)
To assemble, proceed in reverse order:
1. Fit the lower and upper clamp (2 and 4) into
the front ventilation slots and screw both halves
together with supplied Allen screw 1.
Please note: The grip pos. 3 can be screwed on or
screwed off, if required.
Clamping and changing the tool (Fig. 5):
1. Insert chuck key 2 into the chuck 1 and turn in
direction A to open the chuck jaws.
2. Insert the bits and cutters into the chuck up to
the limit stop and turn the chuck key in direc-
tion B to clamp the chuck.
3. Remove chuck key.
Switching on the device
1. To switch on, operate the rotary button 7 (Fig. 1)
and set the corresponding speed.
Graphics 6 and 7 show examples of different me-
thods of handling for different tasks. This means
the device can be operated with or without the
handle, as desired.
6 Maintenance, cleaning and care
Caution!
Remove the battery from device before any assem-
bly, adjustment, maintenance measure or repair!
Every tool is contaminated by dust or chips while
working. Cleaning is therefore essential. To ensure
a long service life, however, the machine should be
cleaned with a soft cloth or brush after each use.
Mild soap or other suitable cleaning agent may be

used in this context. Solvents or cleaning agents
containing alcohol (e.g. petrol, cleaning alcohols
etc.) should be avoided, since these can attack
plastic casings.
Always keep the apertures required for cooling the
motor free of dust and dirt.
Service note
Please note: The mains power input for the charger
may only be replaced by our Proxxon Service De-
partment or a qualifi ed specialist!

in household waste! The device con-
tains valuable materials which can be
recycled. If you have questions con-

disposal company or other appropriate municipal
institutions.

Please note that in accordance with the EU direc-
tive 2012/19/EU and the EU directive 2006/66/EC,
defective or consumed accumulators and no longer
operational electrical devices must be disposed
of separately from household waste and must be
sent for reuse in an environmentally responsible
manner!
