Wrap tank side of the tank adapter with three or four turns of thread tape
(see Figure 2). Using a pipe wrench, tighten the adapter snugly into the fuel
tank.
NOTE: For Aluminum Tank Installation - To prevent thread galling of aluminum
fittings, always prepare the threads for assembly using an anti-seize compound
such as Loctite
