TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE

SOLUTION
◾
Attach the battery pack to the hedge trimmer.
◾
Remove battery pack, check contacts and reinstall
the battery pack.
◾
Charge the battery pack.
◾
Remove the battery pack and cool the battery pack
until the temperature drops below 67°C.
◾
Remove the battery pack and cool the hedge
trimmer until the temperature drops below 80°C.
◾
Place the battery pack and the machine at room
temperature (above 0°C) and charge the battery
pack fully. Contact EGO customer service center if
the machine still does not work.
◾
Move the lock-off lever forward and press the
trigger switch at the same time.
◾
Remove the battery pack from the machine, remove
the obstruction carefully, then reinsert the battery
pack and restart the machine.
◾
Replace the battery pack or contact EGO customer
service center.
◾
Lubricate the blades, following the instructions in
the "LUBRICATING THE BLADES" section in this
manual.
◾
Replace with a new blade or support. Contact EGO
service center for blade or support replacement.
◾
Replace with a new blade. Contact EGO service
center for blade replacement service.
◾
Check all loose bolts. Use an adjustable wrench and
the included hex wrench to tighten the loose bolts.
