1. SAFETY
These
operating
instructions which have to be observed during set-
up, operation and maintenance. For this reason,
these operating instructions must by all means be
read before installation and commissioning by the
installation technician as well as by the competent
specialist staff/user, and must be permanently
available at the location of the device.
In case of non-observation to the operating
instructions (in particular the safety instructions)
as well as unauthorised modification of the device
or the installation of non-original spare parts the
warranty claims will automatically become void. The
manufacturer assumes no liability for any damage
resulting from this!
IDENTIFICATION OF WARNINGS
Meaning
DANGER
This term defines a high risk of danger,
which can lead to death or serious
injury, if not avoided.
NOTICE
This term characterises dangers to the
machine and its proper operation.
Warning of a general danger.
The danger is specified by indications
given in the table.
This symbol characterises dangers
associated with the voltage and
provides information on voltage
protection.
2. TRANSPORT, STORAGE, DISPOSAL
2.1 RECEIVING INSPECTION
• When receiving goods, check the condition of the control box's
packaging.
• In case of damage, note the exact damage and immediately notify
the dealer in writing.
2.2 TEMPORARY STORAGE
Store in a cool, dark, dry and frost-free place.
2.3 DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of the control system with the regular
household garbage!
According
to
the
about waste electric and electronic equipment and
the transposition into national law, used electric tools.
have to be collected separately and recycled in an
environmentally compliant manner.
3. DESCRIPTION
3.1 APPLICATION
Control Box ZPS 2.3 is a control box for water level regulation by
2 pumps. It is possible to control the operation of the pumps by
different level sensors: float switches, dip tube, external 4-20 mA
sensors. Motor contactors directly control alternating pump
operation. The pumps can then be timed or level controlled. Two
adjustable switching levels allow simultaneous operation of both
pumps.
Various features are available to signal malfunctions and ensure
proper operation of the system: internal audible signal, four
programmable potential-free alarm switches, pumps switch-on and
switch-off delay, monitoring of current consumption and motors
temperature, high water level sensors.
In addition to its own operating parameters, Control Box ZPS 2.3
instructions
contain

also records the duration of operation and the number of times the
pumps have been started. It also records any alarms that occur in a
logbook that can be viewed on the screen.
basic
The control system is operated via 9 short travel key switches, the
program settings are displayed on an LCD display. All settings are
saved so that they are available when the control system is restarted.
The display language can be changed.
