The pump is not suitable for conti-
nuous operation. Continuous Opera-
tion will reduce the pump service life accor-
dingly
8. SWITCHING ON THE UNIT
Insert on the power plug into the socket.
The pump is ready for Operation.
The pump will start up as soon as the level of
the water reaches the switch-on height.
9. SWITCHING OFF THE UNIT
Disconnect the power plug.
When the pump is switched off, residual wa-
ter in the hose may flow back and out of the
pump intake.
10. MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING
Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions. These
agents can damage the housing, Impair the
function of the device and harm animals,
plants and the environment.
If possible, clean the unit with clear water
and a soft brush or a spong;remove stub-
born dirt with the aid of the recommended
cleaning agents.
Clean the unit as required but at least twice
per year. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse all
parts in cleaning water. Regularly clean the
metal contacts to ensure that the pump swit-
ches on and off reliably.
A high limestone content harms the opera-
tion of the probes and the cooling of the en-
gine if heat exchanges are limited by a limes-
cale crust.
11. STORGE / WINTER
PROTECTION
The unit is not frost-proof and has to be re-
moved and put into storage if minus tempe-
ratures are expected.
How to correctly store the unit :
Thoroughly clean the unit.
Check the unit for damage and replace da-
maged components.
Store the unit in a dry and frost-free place.
Protect open plug connections from moisture
and dirt.
Drain/empty hose and connections as much
as possible.
12. TROUBLE SHOOTING
DANGER ! Electric shock ! Risk of
injury due to electric shock !
Warning! Before any trouble shooting, re-
move the plug from the socket.
The manufacturer's warranty does
not cover any damage caused by
improper handling.
Compliance with the conditions of use and
areas of use reduces the risk of damage and
helps extend the life of your device. Abrasive
materials such as sand in the liquid accele-
rate wear and reduce pump performance.
The pump does not require maintenance if
used properly. If necessary, the hydraulic
parts must be cleaned. This can be done by
back-rinsing with clean water, with a hose
fitted to the discharge connection. To re-
move stubborn dirt, you can undo the screws
on the pump base. To avoid risks, any other
dismantling or replacement of parts must be
done by the manufacturer or a specialized
technician.
Freezing can cause considerable damage if
the water in the pump freezes. This is why the
pump must be completely emptied when the
temperature drops to freezing point. Store the
pump in a dry place, protected from frost.
In the event of a breakdown, check whether it
