1. SAFETY
These operating instructions contain
essential instructions that must be
observed during installation, operation
and maintenance.
Any alteration or modification of this
device will void the warranty. Only use
original parts or parts recognised by the
manufacturer. The use of other parts
may void the manufacturer's liability for
any resulting damage.
Identification of warnings:
This term defines a high risk
of danger associated with the
voltage, which can lead to death
or serious injury, if not avoided.
This term characterises dangers
to the machine and its proper
operation.
2. DESCRIPTION
2.1 AREA OF APPLICATION
Rainkit Sanisub 800 is a kit including 2 submersible
pumps installed on a stainless steel support.
Rainkit Sanisub 800 is suitable for conveying
slightly contaminated water with suspended solids
(no rocks) from private households or commercial
use.
The
substances are banned:
- the size of suspended solids must not exceed
20 mm (subject to conditions),
- waste waters containing substances which
attack or damage the pump's materials,
- waste waters containing faeces.
2.2 OPERATING PRINCIPLE
When the level of effluents in the manhole or the pit
where Rainkit Sanisub 800 is installed is sufficient,
the float switches the pump ON.
Effluent is automatically lifted to flow into the
discharge pipe. When the water level goes down,
the float lowers and switches the pump OFF. The
two pumps operate alternately during each cycle.
If the water level reaches the alarm level and the
floats of both pumps are activated, the alarm float
triggers simultaneous operation of the second
pump by the control box, which then emits an
audible and visual signal.

3. INSTALLATION
Install the pumps and support as shown on pages
8 to 9.
3.1 PREREQUISITES FOR INSTALLATION
If the Rainkit Sanisub 800 is installed in a pit or
well, its dimensions must allow the float switch on
each pump and the alarm float to move freely.
Rainkit Sanisub 800 must be placed on a horizontal
surface.
3.2 PREPARATION
The installation of the non-return valve at the
discharge connection of each pump is mandatory.
Do not lock the pump float switch.
Additional features (see Sanisub 800 user's
manual):
and
- The flat suction function is not available with
Rainkit Sanisub 800.
- The rinsing, additional ventilation and increasing
the particle size fonctions are available.

3.4 FITTING THE ALARM FLOAT
Using the hose clamp supplied, fix the alarm float
at the chosen length, i.e. the length that will trigger
an audible and visual signal from the control box.
Choose the position of the alarm float such that:
- The alarm float activation level is lower than the
effluent inlet level.
- The alarm float activation level is higher than the
height of the support.
- The alarm float deactivation level is higher than
the pumps floats activation level.
- The alarm float does not interfere with the pump
float switches and cannot obstruct the strainer.
