Malfunction
The pump stops after a short time of

13. WARRANTY
This pump is guaranteed for 3 years from the
day of purchase. An additional 2-year warranty
extension is available on www.spido.fr. This
warranty includes free replacement of defec-
tive parts or the device, the choice being left
to the seller's discretion, subject to proper
use. to the notice.
This guarantee also covers all the conse-
quences of defects or hidden defects (article
1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).
Conditions of validity of the guarantee: the
device must always have been handled ade-
quately, following the instructions in this ma-
nual. the device must not have been modified
or have been subject to repair or other inter-
vention by a person other than the authorized
After-Sales Service.
The warranty no longer applies in the fol-
lowing cases:
• non-compliance with the instructions (in
particular non-protection against frost, sand
pumping, dry operation, incorrect electrical
connection, etc.),
• attempt to repair the device,
Possible cause
Liquid is too viscous.
Temperature of the liquid is too high.
Pump is running dry.
Pump wheel obstructed by solid
matters.
Mains voltage out of tolerance.
Motor or pump wheel defective.
Incorrect setting of the .aqua-sensor.
Aqua-sensor defective.
• technical modifications to the device,
• use of spare parts other than original ones,
• damage/malicious acts (fall or traces of
shock on the device),
• inappropriate use (e.g. industrial use, conti-
nuous operation), and in particular: passage
of hard and heavy particles (stones), passage
of an excessive quantity of sand, salt water,
water with a high lime content, etc. ,
• lack of maintenance or cleaning.
First 6 months (if these parts are supplied
with the pump): suspension cable, connec-
tor, evacuation pipe, stock and delivery rod,
valve, caps, filter key, filter and tank bladder.
An intervention under warranty or an ex-
change with a new product during the war-
ranty period does not extend the initial dura-
tion of the warranty.
Support for devices under warranty is provi-
ded by the product reseller. The product must
be accompanied by all its accessories and
the original receipt or invoice as well as a let-
ter explaining the reason for the return or the
symptoms of failure noted.
Elimination
Pump may not be suitable for this
liquid. If feasible, the liquid should be
thinned.
Make sure that the temperature of the
liquid being pumped does not exceed
the max. admissible value.
