Child safety lock
Press and hold both arrow buttons (14, 15) for three seconds. The child safety
symbol ([ ]) will appear on the display. The system is locked, no settings can be
made. After 2 seconds the display will show the surrounding temperature. When
this setting is activated, the child safety symbol will appear each time a button is
pressed at random.
To end the child lock, press and hold the two arrow buttons (14, 15) for three
seconds. The device will unlock. You can now set the device up as required.
Activation of the touch-sensitive display buttons
During operation, the display buttons normally go out. Touch the area beneath the
temperature display in order to activate the display buttons.
ECO mode
Press and hold settings (16) and the down arrow button (14) for three seconds (or
press the ECO button on the remote control to put the unit into economy mode. In
this operating mode, only a few displays appear on the display (depending on the
settings you made before the ECO mode).
Sleep mode
If no buttons are pressed for 10 seconds when the device is heating, the display
will go into a sleep mode and only show ambient temperature.
Open window detector
If the ambient temperature drops by 3°C within 2 minutes, the heater activates
the open window detector. The symbol
sounds. The heating will turn off.
Setting the daily and weekly timer
Press the "W/24H" button to switch between daily timer and weekly timer settings.
The display shows "day timer" or "week timer" accordingly

Daily timer: With this setting, "day timer" appears in the display. Press "week
timer" on the remote to set the amount of hours. Choose one hour using
the arrow buttons (13, 14). Using the "Settings" button (16) you can change
the minutes. You can use the arrow buttons to set the minutes. Confirm your
setting with the OK button and then save your settings.
