INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (Continued)
9.
Attach the end of each integrated hot water and cold water supply
line (9.1) from the faucet body (A) to the hot water and cold water
supply valves (9.2) under the sink, after making sure the supply
valves (9.2) are clear of any debris.
Thread the nut on the end of each integrated water supply line
(9.1) onto the outlet of each water supply valve (9.2) and tighten
with a wrench. Do not overtighten.
NOTE: Do not use PTFE pipe tape, plumber's putty, pipe dope, or
any other type of sealing compound on the water inlets or threads.
Additional compound is not necessary. A watertight seal between
the supply valve and the nut on the integrated supply line is
achieved by compression.
10. After installation is complete, turn on the water supply and adjust
the handle (10.1) on the faucet body (A) to the warm position
where it mixes both hot and cold water.
Check for leaks at all waterway connections. If a leak occurs,
tighten the nut on the water connection that is leaking. Fill the sink
with water to check the drain for leaks. If water is leaking from the
drain, tighten the mounting nut on the pop-up drain assembly.
After the pop-up drain has been checked for leaks, empty the sink.
Allow the water to run for at least one minute to flush away any
debris that could cause damage to the internal parts. Turn off the
water.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The lever handle controls the flow of hot and cold water to the faucet. Moving the handle upward
opens the cartridge and causes water to flow from the spout. Rotate the handle to the right for cold
water. Rotate the handle to the left side for hot water. The degree of handle opening determines the
volume of water flow. Returning the handle to the original position toward the spout on the faucet
body stops the flow of water.
CARE AND CLEANING
Clean periodically with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, and harsh chemicals as
these will dull the finish and void your warranty.
