Operation
Thank you for choosing the Testboy TV 5300, a multi-channel thermometer with LCD display. Four temperature measurements can
be carried out simultaneously. It is possible to measure maximum, minimum, average and real-time values.

Function
To switch on the unit, simply press the power button.
In stand-by mode, the display shows T1 to T4 and "- - - -". If a sensor is connected, a temperature is displayed for the correspon-
ding connection.
Max. / Min. / Avg.
The Max., Min. and Avg. keys can be used to display the minimum values, maximum values and average values. Pressing the cor-
responding key again takes you back to the real-time measurement.
Auto Power Off
The unit switches itself off after 10 minutes using the Auto Power Off mode to prolong the life of the batteries.
DATA HOLD function
By briefly pressing the Hold key, a test value can be stored on the LC display. The "DATA HOLD" function is shown on the display
field and can be switched off again by briefly pressing the same key again.
Backlight
The display backlight is normally off and can be switched on by pressing a button. It switches off automatically after a few seconds
to save battery power.
Change units
The Unit key can be used to change the measuring units. There are the measuring units °C, °F and °K.
Cleaning
If the unit has become dirty through daily use, the unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth and some mild household cleaner. Never
use harsh cleaners or solvents for cleaning.
