De-scaling
Limescale deposits endanger the function of the appliance.
Therefore, the appliance must be descaled regularly. The
intervals between descaling depend on the hardness of the
water and the frequency of use.
The appliance must be descaled at the latest when the
control lamps for the small and large espresso cups flash
alternately.
Descale with a commercially available descaling agent, as
recommended for coffee machines with a milk system.
1. Follow the dosage instructions on the packaging or
package insert. Pour the descaler into the water and
milk tanks.
2. Fill the water tank with 500 ml of clean, fresh water.
Close the lid of the water tank.
3. Fill the milk tank with 300 ml of clean, fresh water and
reinsert the milk tank with the cover.
4. Insert the filter holder.
5. Set the control on the top of the milk tank to position .
6. Swivel the milk nozzle outwards with the adjustment
lever on the milk tank.
7. Place a suitable container (heat-resistant / approx.
700 ml) under the brewing head. If necessary, change
the length of the milk nozzle as previously described.
- You also have time to change the container between
cleaning processes if you do not have a suitable
700 ml container to hand.
