ASSEMBLY
z Raise the handle assembly in the direction as shown by
the arrow until the tubes align and slide into the indent of
the frame on the snow blower.
z Tighten the lower handle locking knobs. Do not overtighten.
INSTALLING THE DISCHARGE CHUTE
CONNECTING ROD
See Figure 7.
The discharge chute connecting rods are attached to the
upper handle with plastic ties. Carefully cut the ties and fol-
low the steps to install the discharge chute connecting rod.
z With needle nosed pliers, remove the cotter pin from the
chute rod connector on the snow blower.
z Insert the tapered end of the lower chute adjustment rod
into the connector on the snow blower and align the holes.
z Reinstall the cotter pin.
z Remove the cotter pin from the top of the lower chute
connector rod.
z Insert the upper chute adjustment rod through the eyelet
at the top center of the lower handle.
z Insert the upper chute connector rod into the lower chute
connector rod and align the holes the lower rod.
z Reinstall the cotter pin.
