OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The battery pack must be removed from the appliance before it is recycled. The battery
pack is to be recycled as a lithium-ion battery.
CHARGING CLIPPER USING CHARGING MAT
The AC adapter is intended for use with Andis model CCA charging mat with a rated
capacity of 12V
the carton. Note the charger comes standard with a universal AC voltage wall adapter
and interchangeable plugs for use in most countries around the world (Figure P–T).
Plug the charging mat cord into the receptacle on the back of the AC adapter. Plug
the AC adapter into a 120V AC outlet, or according to your local power standards. The
emblem on the charging mat should be in the raised position before placing the
clipper on the charging mat. To do this, please push the emblem up from the bottom
of the charging mat. Place clipper on the charging mat. (Figure A) The charging mat
emblem should align to the magnetic emblem on the back of the clipper to ensure it
is aligned correctly on the mat for efficient charging. The clipper will automatically
turn off when placed on the charging mat. The white light on the clipper will fade in
and out while charging. Note that the clipper can be removed at any time during the
charging cycle without harming the clipper or battery. Once the battery is fully
charged, the lights on the battery pack (Figure D) will turn solid white.
The battery pack can be charged separately from the clipper. To charge the battery
pack separately, remove from clipper and use textured line on the charging mat to
align the front of the battery correctly. The white light on the battery pack will fade
in and out while charging. Once the battery pack is fully charged, the light will turn
solid white.
The clipper has not been charged at the factory. Please charge the clipper for
3 hours before the first use for maximum performance.
