7 UNDERBODY INSTALLATION
From underneath, insert Underbody (7A) through Mounting Holes (7B), with Shank la-
beled "HOT" on left side (7C), and Shank labeled "COLD" on right side (8D). Align
Socket (7E) onto Spout Shank (7F), push Underbody (7A) up until the top of Socket (7E)
reaches the Spout Shank Stop (7F). Be careful not to damage the O-Ring Seals (7G).
Attach Locknut (7H) and forcefuly tighten until the Underbody (7A) is fi rmly assembled
to the Spout Shank (7F).

8 HANDLE ADAPTER ATTACHMENT
Thread the Handle Adapters (8A) over the Valve Stems (8B) and tighten so that the
Handle Adapters (8A) sit on top of the Putty Plate (8C).

9 SPOUT ATTACHMENT
Place a bead of plumber's putty in the bottom groove and along the outer edge of the
Putty Ring (9A). Install the Putty Ring (9A) over the center hole in your sink. Insert
Spout Shank (9B) through Putty Ring (9A).

10 SPOUT INSTALLATION
From underneath sink, place Mounting Washer (10A) onto Spout Shank (10B) and tight-
en with Mounting Nut (10C). Before fi nal tightening, be sure Spout (10D) is centered
and facing forward.
