This Warranty Certificate by Harman do Brasil is valid throughout the Brazilian territory, replacing any other document on warranty from any other country and contained in this product,
manual, or packaging. The warranty offered in this Warranty Certificate is valid for the product manufactured or imported by Harman do Brasil that, through an invoice, has proven of being
purchased in Brazilian territory. Is the product was purchased outside the Brazilian territory, please contact the local (country) seller or distributor from whom you purchased the product. If
you purchased a product manufactured or marketed by Harman do Brasil, please carefully read this Warranty Certificate and keep it, since it contains clarifications on the way to use the
warranty, and cases not covered by the warranty.
-The offered warranty is only available for products which were purchased (receipt is mandatory) in Brazilian territory. If purchased outside the Brazilian territory, contact your local dealer or
distributor.
This product was carefully assessed throughout its manufacturing stages. However, in
the improbable case of manufacture failure or defect in the material used, the problem
should be evaluated by Harman do Brasil's Authorized Technical Service in your region.
I - Warranty Conditions:
a) The warranty applies to the purchaser of the new original product, holder of the
purchase invoice, which shall be presented with this Warranty Certificate.
b) For products that must be installed: the warranty shall only be granted if the product
is installed by an expert;
c) Harman shall assure coverage to all parts, pieces, or components presenting
manufacturing failure within the term of this Warranty Certificate.
d) To claim the warranty, the product shall be forwarded to an Authorized Service with
all its original accessories.
II - The Warranty shall not be granted in the following cases:
a) If the invoice is, in any way, changed or illegible, making it impossible to check the
manufacturing date, purchase place, and other data needed for warranty granting;
b) Is any part, piece, or component of the product is violated;
c) Is the product has suffered damage from falling or spillage of food or liquids of any
nature;
d) If the serial number or manufacturing date is torn or illegible;
e) Is the product has been open for repair or, in any other way, changed by a person
who is not a technician registered with Harman do Brasil;
f) If, while using the equipment, the instructions and warnings given in the user manual
are not met;
g) If the defect arises from: external defective equipment or excessive sunlight or
salinity, incompatible with the product;

WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
Change in the power network, connection to voltage different from the indicated or atmospheric
discharge (lightning), exposure to moisture, dust, light, and high temperature;
h) If the warranty claimer is not the original user, and the purchase is not proved by an invoice
for all legal purposes;
* In case of the hypothesis described in item b through h, the Contract Warranty shall be
automatically terminated, even if the product is repaired by an Authorized Service, at its
expenses.
III - Harman shall not cover the following expenses:
a) Batteries and other pieces worn by use;
b) Expenses arising from product damaged due to misused by the consumer;
c) Expenses arising from accidents, packaging or insurance of any nature;
d) Expenses arising from misuse of the product without compliance with Harman's technical
recommendations;
e) Expenses arising from expected normal exhaustion of product.
IV - Warranty Term:
a) The Warranty Term is, in total, 1 year (365 days), comprised of 90 days of Legal Warranty
and 275 days of Contract Warranty ( 90 + 275 = 365 days). The Legal Warranty term starts on
the date of invoice issuance for the new product purchase. The Contract Warranty starts on the
end of the Legal Warranty.
b) When the product is replaced, a 90-day Legal Warranty shall be granted to the new product,
from the date of replacement or the rest of the original Contract Warranty shall apply, wherever
is better for the consumer.
c) Repair kits: only Legal Warranty is offered. Other products: 275-day Contract Warranty.
