Install a Handle on a Door
a.
Place the handle (3) to find a position you want. Mark a location for the bottom hole.
b.
Measure the distance between the two handle attachments. For this example, the handle
attachments equal 4 in. (10.2 cm) center-to-center.
c.
Measure from the bottom of the door to the marked location. For this example, the
measurement equals 2.5 in. (6.4 cm).
d.
Measure from the side of the door to the marked location. For this example, the
measurement equals 1.25 in. (3.2 cm).
e.
Set the bottom of the Alignment Stop (C) to 1.25 in. (3.2 cm) and tighten the Thumb Screw (G).
f.
Slide the End Stop (D) onto the Cross Bar (B), opposite of the Adjustable Drill Guide (E). Set
the edge of the End Stop (D) to 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) and tighten the Thumb Screw (G).
g.
Slide an Adjustable Drill Guide (E) onto the Cross Bar (B), opposite of the End Stop (D). Set
the Adjustable Drill Guide (E) to 4 in. (10.2 cm) and tighten the Thumb Screw (G).
