Assembling the side case
This instruction indicates an
assembling process for a right
side case. An assembling pro-
cess for a left side case also fol-
low the instruction.
1. Open the lid of the Side Case
1.
(Refer to P13 "How to open the
lid")
2. Attach the side case garnish
(E) (sold separately) to the lid.
(Refer to the installation manual
of the side case garnish)
3. Install the Reflector 8 on the
lid.
4. Tighten the Seal Washer 2,
the Washer 3 by the Nut 4 as
shown.
Nut 4 : 1.8 N·m (0.18 kgf-m,
Check the order of the Seal
Washer 2, the Washer 3 and
the Nut 4 on and tighten
securely them.
There is possibility to reduce
water resist performance, if they
are assembled incorrect order.
