Do not insert the battery until the battery-powered tool is ready for use.

Push the battery (4) into the battery mount of the compatible power tool. The battery (4) clicks in-

Removing the battery

Press the battery (4) release button (6) and pull the battery (4) out of the battery mount of the
compatible power tool.

Check the charge status of the battery
The charge status indicator (5) indicates the charge status of the battery (4).
The charge status of the battery is indicated by the corresponding LED light lighting up.

Depleted batteries
• A significantly shortened operating time despite charging indicates that the battery has been
used up and needs to be replaced. Only use original replacement batteries.
• In any case, observe the applicable safety instructions as well as regulations and instructions on
environmental protection (see "Disposal and recycling").

Electrical connection
The connection complies with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions. The customer's mains
connection as well as the extension cable used must also comply with these regulations.

Important information
If the battery overheats, the charging process is terminated and the battery charger is switched off.
After the battery has cooled down, the charging process can be resumed.
