use any other sets of accumulator batteries because they could
damage your tools and cause a hazardous situation.
9 Checking Accumulator Status
The battery is fitted with a charge status control panel [B3].
Press the control button [B4] on the accumulator status panel [B3].
An accumulator status indicator  [B5] will light up based on the
state of charge (capacity) of the accumulator.

10 Electronic Safeguards
The machine is fitted with circuitry designed to prevent serious
damage to the machine. If the electronics detect any of the faults/
defects below, the machine stops immediately. Remove the fault/
defect by proceeding in accordance with the table.
Overview of safety features and methods for returning the machine to operation:
Type of safety feature
Low accumulator voltage
(indicated on the accumulator)
Machine overload (machine
was switched off due to recoil
or excessive load)
Overheating (critical temper‑
ature of the motor, the elec‑
tronics or the accumulator was
reached)
11 Putting the Machine into Operation
11.1 Inserting and Removing the
Accumulator
Slide the accumulator [B1] all the way into the shaft on the back
of the machine. Pull on the accumulator to make sure it is firmly
seated.
To remove the accumulator  [B1] from the machine, push on the
accumulator clamp (B2) and pull the accumulator out.
11.2 Turning the Machine On
Press the switch [1]; the machine will start up at the selected power
setting. You can change the setting by switching the power/speed
selector [5] to the value of your choice. You can determine the ideal
setting by simply testing how the tool works the material in prac‑
tice. You can change settings even while the machine is running.
The switch  [1] can be locked in the on position. To lock the
switch [1], hold it pushed all the way down and push the lock but‑
ton [2] down. Then, release the switch [1] first, then release the lock
button [2].
11.3 Turning the Machine Off
Release the switch [1].
If the switch [1] is locked in the on position, press the switch [1] all
the way down and then release it.
Warning: The tool is not fitted with a motor brake, so it takes
some time for it to stop after turning off.

12 Operating Instructions
ATTENTION!
Risk of injury from flying objects in case
of accidental start. Remove the accumulator from the
machine before making adjustments!
12.1 Adjusting the Rotary Handle
The machine is fitted with a rotary handle [3] which can be locked
in three positions.
0 ° Position for storage (handle folded next to the motor hous‑
ing). The machine takes up the least space in this position.
The position is used only for storage.
90 ° Position for vacuuming (handle perpendicular to the motor
housing). This position is suitable for vacuum cleaning.
180 ° Position for blowing (handle as an extension of the motor
housing). This position is ideal for blow cleaning.
12.2 Fitting the Exhaust Pipe for Blow
Cleaning
Set the rotary handle  [3] into position for blow cleaning. Fit the
exhaust pipe [P1] by the wider end onto the exhaust opening [6].
Grab the machine by the rotary handle [3] with one hand and grab
the exhaust pipe  [P1] with the other. Fit the pins in the exhaust
pipe into the grooves in the exhaust opening and rotate the ex‑
haust pipe to lock it in position.
The exhaust can be extended by fitting the extension tube  [P2]
between the exhaust pipe  [P1] and the exhaust opening  [6]. Fit
the exhaust pipe [P1] onto the extension tube [P2] by fitting the
pins in the exhaust pipe into the grooves in the extension tube.
Rotate either of the pieces to lock them in position. The extension
tube [P2] is then fitted onto the machine the same way as the ex‑
haust pipe [P1].
ATTENTION!
Make sure the suction opening [7] is not
clogged or closed off by the dust bag.
12.3 Fitting the Exhaust Pipe for
Vacuuming
Set the rotary handle [3] into position for vacuuming. Fit the ex‑
haust pipe  [P1] by the wider end onto the suction opening  [7].
Grab the machine by the rotary handle [3] with one hand and grab
the exhaust pipe  [P1] with the other. Fit the pins in the exhaust
pipe into the grooves in the suction opening [7] and rotate the ex‑
haust pipe to lock it in position.
The exhaust can be extended by fitting the extension tube  [P2]
between the exhaust pipe  [P1] and the suction opening  [7]. Fit
the exhaust pipe [P1] onto the extension tube [P2] by fitting the
pins in the exhaust pipe into the grooves in the extension tube.
Rotate either of the pieces to lock them in position. The extension
tube [P2] is then fitted onto the machine the same way as the ex‑
haust pipe [P1].
12.4 Fitting the Dust Bag
Fit the dust bag [P3] with the plastic tailpiece (mouth) onto the ex‑
haust opening [6]. Grab the machine by the rotary handle [3] with
one hand and grab the dust bag [P1] with the other. Fit the pins in
the mouth of the dust bag into the grooves in the exhaust opening
and rotate the tailpiece to lock it in position.
ATTENTION!
Never fit the dust bag onto the suction
opening [7].
Remove the dust bag [P3] from the machine once it is full. To emp‑
ty the bag [8], unzip it and empty it out thoroughly. Make sure to
properly close the zip on the dust bag [8] afterwards.
ATTENTION!
The machine is designed only for vacu-
uming fine-grained material or dust. Material with
larger particles will get caught on the grate in the suc-
tion opening [7] and the opening may quickly clog.
