cover on.
Bottom protective cover
! Before each use, make sure that the lower protec-
tive cover closes properly.
! Do not use the saw if the lower guard does not move
freely and does not close immediately.
! Never clamp or tie the lower guard to the open
position.
! Verify the function of the lower guard spring. If the
protective cover and spring do not work properly, they
must be repaired before use.
! The lower protective cover should only be removed
manually for special cuts, such as cutting holes in the
middle of the material or for complex angular cuts.
Lift the lower guard with the pull handle and as soon
as the saw blade enters the material, the lower guard
must be released.
! Before placing the saw on a workbench or on the
floor, always make sure that the lower guard covers
the saw blade.
Expansion wedge
! Use a suitable spreader wedge for the saw blade
used.
! Adjust the spreader wedge as described in the
operating instructions.
! In addition to plunge cutting, always use an expan-
sion wedge.
! For the expansion wedge to work, it must fit into the
cut-out in the machined piece.
! Do not work with the spiral if the expansion wedge
is bent.
! Make sure that the spreader wedge is set so that the
distance between the spreader wedge and the saw
blade rim is not more than 5 mm and that the saw
blade rim does not extend more than 5 mm beyond
the lower edge of the spreader wedge.
! When replacing the saw blade, make sure that
the cutting width is not less than the depth of the
spreader wedge.
.
Avoid kickback
Warning: Kickback occurs when a force is pressed
against the saw blade, which causes the wood to
jump out quickly and unexpectedly. Kickback is very
dangerous, but it can be minimized if you know its
causes and avoid them.
1. The heel of the saw blade should always be firmly
in contact with the cut material
2. Always hold the saw with both hands. Support the
cut parts with large panels.
3. Be careful when cutting long parts that may bend,
twist, or pinch the saw blade.
4. Never cut forward between the underlying piece of
wood. The wood can bend and cause the saw blade
to pinch.
5. Never cut overhead.
6. Do not push on the saw. Let the saw blade work at
its own speed.
7. Secure the bezel with clamps or vices to avoid
vibration and uneven cuts.
8. Do not deviate from the cutting line of the rotating
saw, as this may cause the saw to jump out of the cut.
9. Before cutting, check the wood and remove all
screws, clamps and nails.
10. Replace the saw blade if it is blunt.
11. Use only saw blades according to EN 847-1 and
never use saw blades made of high speed steel
(HSS).
! Use hearing protection to reduce the risk of hearing
damage.
! Wear protection against inhalation of hazardous
dust,
! When working with saw blades with roughly ma-
chined materials, wear gloves - wear saw blades in
holders if possible.
! When cutting wood, the circular saws need to be
connected to a dust collection device. It is also neces-
sary to become familiar with the conditions that affect
the deposition of dust, such as the type of material
being processed and the possibility of dust extraction.
Safety instructions for battery and charger.
Read the operating instructions carefully
before using the battery and charger for
the first time.
! 1. Verify that the electric current that is in the el.
network, is identical to the values indicated on the
battery charger.
! 2. Do not allow moisture, rain or splashing water to
reach the battery charging location.
! 3. Do not charge the battery when the temperature
is below 10 ° C or above 40 ° C. Charging the battery
in extreme temperatures may shorten its life.
! 4. A damaged battery that can no longer be charged
must be treated as hazardous waste. Do not dispose
of the battery in normal household waste, fire or
water.
! 5. Use only batteries and chargers approved by the
manufacturer for use with married equipment.
! 6. Keep the charger clean, free of dust and dirt.
! 7. Always remove the battery before repairing tools.
! 8. Cover the battery contacts to prevent a short
circuit.
! 9. Avoid the risk of explosion!
! 10. Do not smoke while the battery is being charged
or stored. Damaged batteries can leak explosive
gas - hydrogen, which can ignite from open flames
or sparks.
! 11. In case of fire, try to extinguish the fire with earth
or sand.
! 12. The battery and charger become slightly hot
during charging.
! Chemical hazard.
Do not open the battery pack. Protect the battery
from impact. If the accumulator electrolyte leaks,
skin contact must be avoided. If electrolyte contact
with the skin still occurs, rinse the affected area
immediately with water. If electrolyte gets into your
eyes, see a doctor immediately.
- Use protective equipment against noise, dust and
vibration !!!
