Releasing the switch switches off the saw.
Dust extraction
A vacuum cleaner can be connected to the suction
outlet, either directly to the outlet or via a reducer.
If necessary, connect a reducer to terminal
Preferably use a vacuum cleaner designed for indu-
strial use.
Carbon inspection and replacement
Carbons must be checked regularly. The operation of
the tools causes their gradual wear.
Remove the carbon holders and clean the carbons.
In case of wear, replace both carbons at the same
time.
Attach the carbon holders.
After attaching the new carbons, let the tool run for 5
minutes without load.
! Use only carbons of the correct type.
Cutting tips:
1. Cut the wood with the output (top) side down to
achieve a clean cut. Because the saw cuts upwards,
the bottom surface of the wood is less likely to chip.
2. Never switch on the saw if the saw blade is in
contact with the material.
3. Allow the saw to reach full speed before cutting.
4. The sharp cutting disc can make cleaner cuts and
prolongs the life of the saw. A blunt cutting disc leads
to motor overload, kickback and rapid tool wear.
5. Allow the cutting blade to come to a complete stop
before folding the saw down or pulling out the cut
material.
6. The guide bar that your saw contains will help you
make straight, stable cuts even when cutting larger
pieces of wood.
Cutting holes
This procedure is used when it is necessary to cut
a hole in the wood without cutting from the side. Be
extremely careful when you start cutting the hole.
1. Tilt the saw forward so that the front of the base
is firmly in contact with the sieve, but the cutting disc
does not touch the wood.
2. Using the handle on the retractable blade cutter,
remove the cover to expose the blade.
3. Lower the saw so that its teeth almost touch the
wood.
4. Release the sliding blade cover.
5. Hold the saw with both hands and switch it on.
Slowly tilt the saw so that the cutting blade touches
the wood and starts cutting.
6. Keep the front of the base firmly in contact with the
sieve. Continue tilting the saw until the base stays
straight on the wood and the saw blade moves freely.
7. Finish cutting the side of the hole by sliding it
forward.
8. Never move the saw backwards. Allow the saw bla-
de to stop completely before removing the hole saw.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
! Before cleaning and maintenance, always unplug
the tool.
1. To prevent injuries, always disconnect the saw from
the power supply before cleaning or performing any
maintenance. The saw is most effectively cleaned
with compressed air. Always wear safety goggles
when using compressed air. If compressed air is not
available, use a brush to remove dust and chips from
the saw.
2. The engine ventilation and switch lever vents must
be kept clean and free of foreign particles. Do not
clean them by inserting pointed objects through the
holes.
3. Never use corrosive agents to clean plastic parts.
Such as: petrol, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated
detergents and household cleaners containing
ammonia. Do not use any of these products to clean
the saw.
4. In the event of excessive shutdown, have worn
carbon brushes inspected and / or replaced by an
authorized service center.
5. Saw blades also blunt when cutting ordinary
lumber. A certain feature of a blunt saw blade is the
need to push the saw forward when cutting instead
of guiding it. To sharpen, bring the saw blade to a
service center.
6. Always keep the machine clean.
7. If you find any damage, unplug the machine and
do not use it. Send the machine to a service center
immediately.
8. Clean the casing only with a damp cloth. Do not
use solvents! Then dry it thoroughly. To maintain
the capacity of the battery, we recommend fully
discharging the battery once a month and recharging
it fully. Store only with a fully charged battery and refill
the battery from time to time during long-term storage.
Store in a dry place where there is no frost; the
ambient temperature should not exceed 40 ° C.
9. If the mains cable of this power tool is damaged, it
must be replaced by a similar mains cable available
from a service organization or a qualified authorized
technician.
10. For safety reasons, the machine automatically
shuts off when the carbon brushes are worn and
no longer in contact with the motor. In this case,
the carbon brushes must be replaced with a pair of
similar ones, available through a service organization
or a qualified professional.
CAUTION: The brushes must always be replaced in
pairs.
CAUTION: Always disconnect the machine from the
power supply before removing any electrical cover.
Storage when not used for a long time
Do not store the tool in a place where the temperature
is high.
If possible, store the device in a place with a constant
temperature and humidity.
