14 Adjustment of binding diameter

• Refer to chart above and select the appropriate binding comb.
• Release the clamping knob for the diameter setting on the left side by slightly turning it to the left. Set the
adjusting knob on the right side of the machine to the desired diameter as indicated by the measuring scale.
•
Tighten clamping knob on the left side to maintain the adjustment.
15 Inserting RingWire
15.1 Inserting the RingWire
•
Please insert the RingWire
sketch below. The RingWire
enables you to put the paper in layers into the RingWire
element. The comb for the inserting of RingWire
located at the front of the ECL360/500/700.

15.2 How to get the paper into the RingWire

•
Take the punched paper with two hands closed to the punched section and put it layer by
layer into the RingWire

15.3 How to bind your book

•
If your sheets are completely taken into the RingWire
and out of the comb. Put it onto the table of the ECL360/500/700 and
move it to the front as long as the RingWire
angle . Take care that the RingWire
with both opening ends
switched on). Hold on the book at the rear end and push slightly against
the closing angle during the closing action.
ATTENTION!!! Never press the foot pedal if there is a hand or fingers left in the binding slot.
